Man that thing is sweet. This is my dream swap for my 68 F100, just want to make it a nice driver that I can hop in and go wherever anytime of the year, my current 360 and 3 on the tree is only good for local cruising lol
Sweet, i just finished a 59 f100 on a grand marquis and fell in love with her so now i cant sell it, so im going to pick up a 52 this weekend cab hood fenders and everything up front with no bed and told him to keep a frame he was trying to sell but do have a title most important part were im from. Don't even a have donor yet so i may go your route. Im gonna subscribe to your channel and gets some pointers and ask a few questions.
I would like to see more in depth of the chassis. It looks very nice, why isn't this swap more popular than the Crown Vic. I personally think the Crown Vic is too wide...
Did you go with the lokar shifter for the 4r70w? If so I have some questions sir. I’m doing the exact same harness and looked into lokar floor mount. How do you like it and any tips?
Wonderful.. world beautiful Life crazy badass Style..

Those newer trucks are a little longer --115" I believe. So you would have to cut down the bed some.

Any time. Thank you.
Funny to know that is a 4x4 and sits that low, looks really good!
Nice work!!
Love to see how you did the dash with explorer guts
Wired from scratch using the Shark gauges. No Explorer parts under there.
Very nice. Can't you take the front CV axles out and make it a 2WD if you wanted to?
Of course. But then I couldn't say it is 4wd. Besides, will be much funner this wintet.

I think more people will start doing it this way. The cab truly seems like it was meant to fit over this frame.
I wonder if this can be done on a late 2000s
I think I already asked, how close is the wheelbase? I have a 53 Ford panel. Has 111" wheelbase I think.
Very close. 111.5 on Explorer. 110 on the F100 I believe.
I would like to get a pattern for the front cross member to mount the front clip , how can I contact you thanks
When your finished could you do this but with a 4x4 explorer
It is 4x4.

It is the Lokar. I really like the floor mount setup. I got long shifter also, which throws people off all the time -- they think the truck is manual.
@@robertphillips4616how long did you go on the shaft? and did you just do standard case mount or move it forward?
@robertvanslycke2923 it is console mount on a custom made floor.
I live in north Phoenix who welded up the body mounts for you ? Thanks
A local shop. Owner passed away. I could probably make a pattern. I gave him the measurement of where I wanted front mounts to be.
By any chance are you selling pre fab cab mount brackets?
Are u selling any cab mount brackets
Not at the moment.
What engine did you put in there? Just a 5.0?
Yes, the Explorer 5.0. Has GT40 intake and P heads.

@@Thelegendking-yj4bm It is a Lokar shifter for 4r70w. I like the vintage look of it.
