There are much louder bands than Husker du and Dinosaur jr. Anyway, i really like them both and I can say that YALAOM is with Pick your king, by Poison idea and Circle Jerks Group sex in my personal top 3 records of all time. J was nice drummer for Deep wound, i love the original track.
@@PontiacSNope. But he did play on some Dinosaur Jr albums as in, every song on Green Mind minus The Wagon, Thumb and Green Mind, What Else Is New? From where you been and all the B-sides associated with Where You Been, Without a Sound and Hand it Over minus Can't We Move This Along? He does do all the drums on his solo records though, Fog and not Fog
The master with his best students.
Never seen J move that fast!
Right! I think he walked off stage at the end and collapsed for a week.
J was recruited to be Nirvana's drummer before they asked Dave
Deep Wound
Just like rock and roll heaven
Only ones missing here are Greg and Grant of course. RIP Grant, you're sorely missed!
Where's Murph?!
Oh dear Lord this is GOLD!
Huskersaur Jr.
Husker Du and Dinosaur Jr, two of the loudest fucking bands I've ever seen.
Saw Bob last summer. Will see Dinosaur Jr this summer at same venue.

This is my favorite Deep Wound lineup!
Melodic hard core w a meaning
J's a hell of a drummer.

OK that’s it. I just found the best video on UA-cam...
Two life changers at stage
three!
J Mascis forced Bob to play super fast. They almost sound like very early Huskers (hardcore punk years).
This is how the song is played though.
It's fast but not Land Speed Record fast!
Agreed, he definitely pulled some extra speed/angst/rage out of Bob here. Just like the old days. This ruled 10/10 would watch 5 more times.
well. this is a gem
J plays really hard and fast. Guess I should have seen that coming...
Took me so long before I realised he was playing with dinosaur jr.
This is what you call "bringing it!"
in a speed free land !! ^^
so yeah, this is fucking amazing...
Drumming was his first talent. Now he just rips on guitar lol. Man of no words
Amazing song, ppl in the front row are fuckin lost
holy shit
Fucking get the PIT going!!
Wow!
Awesome a Gibson Grabber!
Fucking awesome!!!!!!
respect JJ i never knew you could drum like that!
Just WOW
amazing
J is channeling Grant
Extremely nice ;D
This is even better than Husker Du duing it, and that's saying something.
? Grant Hart is key to this song. This is fun but not great.
It's really not. Grant's bonkers drumming is sorely missing.
Exactly
Grant is totally missed 💔 but I wouldn’t mind if Bob, J, and Lou tour the world playing Hüsker Dü songs 😻
@@cliffdiffley9969bob fucking mould is playing with Dinosaur Jr how is this not great lmao
My God.
Is that Fred Armisen fan-boying up there in the right? Great version of a great song btw, Bob's lost none of his passion over the years.
lmao yes it is! good eye!
You can see Keith Morris too
Creepy little geezer.
And lo, no one ever did hear sound with his ears again.
Fuck yeah! Killer.
Always wondered; Why did Bob use a jazzmaster here instead of a strat? Was this before he bought the two new ones he's been using recently?
Think he was just borrowing one of J's, and J does own all the Jazzmasters!
@@RolexTharsus Bob didn't seem familiar with the pickup switches on the Jazz. J. was showing him before one of the songs they did together.
It speaks highly of Bob that he just grabbed J's and managed to play with his (J's) insane string height.
Just as good as BB '
hell on earth...
What Fender amp is that?
Is that J. On drums!?
Indeed.
Is that Murph on drums, or J Mascis? If Murph, where's J? Also holy shit Bob is playing something other than his blue strat.
+Steve Shapero Yes, J is on drums. Fun.
J on drums, Bob is probably playing one of Js guitars?
how can you not tell that that's J on drums??
