It must be so incredible to not only love hiking, but to find a life partner that loves it too. You guys have opened up the door to which so many people never find the key! I applaud your relationship.
This is such a lovely comment, thank you so much Ken😊👊. We know we are very lucky to have found a shared love for hiking, it has brought us closer and it is amazing to share these adventures with your best friend and partner ❤
Absolutely loved this. I'm now gunna be binging this series well done guys great job. It looks stunning there! A takeaway was thoroughly needed and well deserved 👏🏽 x
Ah thank you so much Rob! It has made our day that you have watched our first through hiking adventure🤩👊. That takeaway was delicious 😋 Much love Shell and Pete
"We are expecting rain".....sits here rubbing hands😁 and didn't have to wait long for the 'Scotch Mist'. Nice looking bench and trigpoint, shame about the view mind. Quite a religious anointing at the source of the Annan and a long walk back not in the best of conditions either but those horses must have lifted the spirits. I bet if was great to see Moffat again and even better - the fish shop still open, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, We were soo excited to find the source! It was great to see a monument there to mark it, it really is crazy how quickly it grew and gained pace from that tiny trickle, even in this first section of the trail. The scotch mist was quite an experience! Had us soaked through 😂🙈 🌧. But still a great day was had, with lots more adventure to come🙌. The horses were absolutely beautiful and in such lovely condition, always lifts our spirits to be around animals ❤. The fish and chips was much needed and delicious! 😋. We really do love Moffat. Thanks as always for your lovely comments, and for stopping by, Have a fabulous weekend, Shell and Pete 😊👊👍
Incredible start to the Annandale Way, OBS Outdoors! 🌄🚶♂ The Devil's Beef Tub and the River Annan look stunning, and your Day 1 footage really captures the rugged beauty of Dumfries & Galloway. 🌿💧
Thank you so much for this lovely feedback Andi 😊👊. This trail certainly was an adventure! With lots more ups and downs to come. The "scotch mist" over the hills made for an atmospheric, if a little wet, start to our through hike 😊 🌧. Thanks again for watching, Shell and Pete 😊👊👍
Been looking forward to watching this all day. Devil’s beef tub…still chuckling over that one 😂. Moffat looks really pretty. Good to see Shell colour co ordinated with the trail signs. Really interesting story about the Johnstone clan hiding the cows, mad story. This walk is looking really good…watch out cows 😂. Shame about the weather but it only adds to the atmosphere. It looks so mystical!! Haha, great view from the view point!! Blimey that weather is horrible! We love how happy you look when you first spot the source of the Annandale Way!!that looks mad! The start from a puddle in a field, Very cool indeed!! Loving Dougal!! Can’t believe how big the river has got in 20 mins. Watch out for those slippy logs!! It’s a big old hike you’re doing there, we’re loving the growing of the river. We’re always impressed at how prepared you are for these hikes, we normally end up drenched in trainers and t-shirts. We really enjoyed that, hope the fish and chips were as good as they looked!! Nice one both…owch, watch out for those ticks!!!! X
Hey Rach and Wills 😊 👋, Hahaha, i shall endeavour to colour coordinate my outfits with the trail signs on all future hikes 😂👌. We were soo excited to find the source! It was great to see a monument there to mark it, it really is crazy how quickly it grew and gained pace from that tiny trickle, even in this first section of the trail. Ya gotta love Dougal Mcbouie😍🐏. The scotch mist was quite an experience! Had us soaked through, we were grateful of the waterproofs 😂🙈 🌧. But still a great day was had, with lots more adventure to come🙌. Thanks as always for your lovely comments, and for stopping by guys, Hope you are having a fabulous weekend, certainly looks like it from your snaps 😊👍 Shell and Pete 😊👊👍

How do you memorize all that info? You’re obviously not reading it as you hike. That’s so professional!
We are quite Rach and Wills standard yet 😂, but we try 😊🙌
Cheers Ken, lovely to get such great feedback.
Shell and Pete 😊👊👍
You’re covered from head to toe. How did a tick get on your leg?!
Hahaha, we also had our gear and clothes treated with permetherin, which is supposed to kill ticks. Those Scottish ticks are very persistent!😂🙈
Think if you looked up you'd find the source of the Annan 🌧🌧😀
@briangallagher1760 very true rain🌧🤣👌
@o.bsoutdoors3871 Thanks for posting. Planning on doing it in September 👍
@briangallagher1760 best of luck, it is a beautiful trail 😊👍 👣
It’s all wilderness. If there was an emergency, what do you do? No one for miles!
Scotland is so vast, there is always solitude that can be found, it is what we love about it, but you are right, care is also needed to stay safe 👍
