Great detailed comparison of MTR vs Room OS for both scheduled and ad-hoc scenarios. Appreciate you taking the time to detail the multitude of options Rolland. Very helpfu. Especially for organizations (such as mine) which use Teams for their meetings and Cisco hardware endpoints.
For the ad-hoc Zoom and Teams direct guest join (web), does this require the Zooms room connector and CVI respectively?
    Thanks!

Thank you! No, direct guest join doesn't require any other licenses. Keep in mind, zoom CRC for participants is now also included in any paid zoom subscription.

Amazing video. Thanks. Sorry for my lack of knowledge. I want to know if MTR and Room OS (Dual OS) is available on Room kit EQ and Room kit Pro as well?

Yes, RoomOS OR MTR on RoomOS (it's not a dual OS as such) is available on the RoomKit EQ as well as on the RoomKit Pro, RoomBar and RoomBar Pro (once shipped).

It seems like you're comparing MTR (Multi-Threaded Rendering) and RoomOS Mode with the decision-making stages of the Cisco BoardPro. I'll provide a brief explanation of these terms and then discuss their decision-making processes.
    1. MTR (Multi-Threaded Rendering): MTR is a rendering technique used in computer graphics, particularly in gaming and 3D applications. It allows for better performance by distributing the rendering workload across multiple CPU threads. This can lead to smoother gameplay and faster processing.
    2. RoomOS Mode: RoomOS is a smart home operating system developed by Lenovo. RoomOS Mode refers to the operating mode of a smart home device running on RoomOS. It enables users to control and manage various smart devices within their home through a centralized interface.
    3. Cisco BoardPro: Cisco BoardPro is a digital signage solution that enables businesses to create, manage, and deploy digital content across multiple screens. It has a decision-making process that involves several stages.
Now, let's discuss the decision-making processes of these systems:
    1. MTR: The decision-making process in MTR is primarily based on optimizing rendering performance. It determines the best way to distribute rendering tasks across multiple CPU threads to minimize processing time and improve overall performance.
    2. RoomOS Mode: In RoomOS Mode, the decision-making process revolves around managing smart home devices and providing users with an intuitive interface to control these devices. It involves understanding user preferences, device capabilities, and coordinating actions between different devices to create a seamless smart home experience.
    3. Cisco BoardPro: The decision-making process in Cisco BoardPro involves content creation, management, and deployment. It includes selecting appropriate content for different screens, scheduling content playback, and monitoring the performance of the digital signage network.
In summary, MTR and RoomOS Mode are focused on different aspects of technology - one in the realm of computer graphics and the other in smart home systems. Cisco BoardPro, on the other hand, is concerned with digital signage solutions. Each system has its unique decision-making process tailored to its specific domain.

Thanks a lot for the feedback and apologies for the confusion. Cisco RoomOS, is the operating system running on our video devices. MTR mode refers to Microsoft Teams Rooms Software running on top of Cisco RoomOS. So... Cisco RoomOS doesn't have to do with home automation and neither has it been developed by Lenovo.
So, thanks a lot for your feedback, but my comparison shouldn't have gone in the direction you are mentioning in your comment.
