I believe I agree with everything you say and you offer a very interesting perspective that is mostly true. Except for a little part about self-love where I come from near Southern California there are plenty maybe even too many people who seem to have a lot of self-love and little concern for anyone else so I believe life is a balance and I believe in most of what you say to be true but it is a balance I think we are better off surrounded by people who like us and enjoy our company and they will compliment you and appreciate you as you compliment others and appreciate them human beings are meant to be in a community. Sadly this digital age is separating and isolating us telling us how helpful and efficient digital media and computers and telephones can be, but they isolate us and give us the illusion that we don't need other people but we certainly do and we need to share love and appreciation with others as much as possible. Thank you for your video it was very insightful.
Thank you so much for sharing your insights! Yes, it's definitely a fine balance. I think for me it was a struggle to get out of that mindset from my family of immigrants that everything can be better, so learning how to see beauty first was life changing and necessary for me to find happiness. But you're right, it also needs to be authentic and come from a good place in our hearts.
Such a wonderful true and profound message!!!! You are such an AMAZING person!!! I work everyday on the « Good enough » when I’ve given my best!! It’s getting easier to do and to help other do it too!!❤️
Thank you so much for the kind words and love, Nadia! ❤️❤️❤️ It’s really is so hard to let go and appreciate things just as they are, but as you said it gets easier and feels sooo good! 😊🙏
You’re right! No grog - it’s Highwater P5 clay which is a greyish midrange porcelain clay. I really love the sound too! I’ve made many clay flutes or ocarinas and this one sounds the nicest - I think it’s because of both the shape of the body (large with soft curves) and the narrowness of the air channel in the mouthpiece. The narrow air channel makes for a really strong and focused wind stream. 🙌
It’s a combination of commercial glazes from Amaco Potters Choice. I used Obsidian for the outside base (three coats brushed on) and then the inside is Sapphire Float, poured in. Then I layered Sapphire Float and Seaweed on bands on the outside, overtop of the Obsidian.
Beautiful Pottery and beautiful truths. Thanks Katrina!
Aw thanks for the kind words and for watching, Chad! 😀🙌

Aww thank you so much for your kind words, Bridgette! ❤️
You made a thing!!! That sounds so nice? What kind of clay did you use? Sounds clean like there's no grog in the clay.

Hi Katherine.what glaze do you use on the blue cup at tge end of tbe video?
It’s a combination of commercial glazes from Amaco Potters Choice. I used Obsidian for the outside base (three coats brushed on) and then the inside is Sapphire Float, poured in. Then I layered Sapphire Float and Seaweed on bands on the outside, overtop of the Obsidian.
I will now try to be more humble and learn to sea beauty first.. Instead of finding flaws.
