Nice job! I happen to be "distracting myself with this exact kit at the moment. We used several of the BanDai Star Wars kits (X-wings at AT-ATs) at our club contest a couple weeks ago for the Make-N-Take table. Thanks for sharing. FYI: One of the projects I'm distracting myself from is also a 1/200 scale Battleship project. But for me its starting with the "Bismarck" kit and trying to kit bash it into the Tirpitz. Thanks again.
Just a few tips for masking and painting these small models: Cut out a single template for the panels out of .30 evergreen plastic. Then lay down cheap (painters masking tape) on plastic sheet. Trace around the template with knife and you have your "one piece" masks. Flip the template for opposite shape. If you experience over-run/under-run on the mask just flood the discrepancy later with a thin wash. You can also flood the windows (black wash) several times and then dab in some gloss coat later. This way the thinner wash on the "apex" of the window simulates reflection.
That does look like a fun build. Sometimes it's good when involved in a long term project to take a break and do a simple fun build of something different.
Very nice, these kits are fantastic, great job with them, on a side note, the stickers are very nice also, they are very thin and conform to the parts just like decals, give them a try next time, you will be surprised. I look forward to your next build.
Quite a change from tiny etched ladders, should provide you with some "light relief".👍 They make-up into tidy little models; the gloss black "glazing" turned out well, really well.👌 Now get those deck cannons finished.😬 Cheers for now, Dougie.
I’ve got the big MPC. Tie Advanced. I plan on lighting it And all that would be a food project to work on while building. The 1:200 Bismarck. I picked up.
What color do you use for the main body?, at first its look like the grey on ANH but in the end kinda have the blueish tint of the tie fighters from ROJ.
Yeah I think I just used a gull Grey or neutral Grey on the Tie. For the Tie Advanced I picked a grey that had a little blue in it. I’m sorry I’m not at home to go see which paint I used exactly.
Do you know what scale these are? Do they make an AT-ST in the same scale? Asking for a friend, who is a model railroader, and is looking for an HO (1/87th scale) AT-ST he can put on a flat car.

Nice distraction kits!!! Well done Ben! Star Wars rules!
A big thumbs up, can't wait to see the X-Wing.

i used a white dry brush on the wings
Oh that’s a great idea!

If you don't mind me asking, what color model wash did you use for the detailing?
I’m pretty sure I was using Vallejo black and blue washes.

Cool! I like it!
Nice distraction Ben. I 'm enjoying your ship builds. Any more Wingnut Wings in our future?
Oh yes. I have one in my stash right now!
window frames should be dark grey and also the top hatch section ;)
I built a Bandai Gundam Astray Red Warrior, All the instructions were in Japanese no English. And no glue, all snap together .

Accurate blue/grey color to match filming models 50/50 sky grey XF 19 with white XF 2
The stickers are great but the box doesn't tell you where they go like the x-wing does
it kinda does, check the bottom of the box
I’ve seen them around I actually have the next size up scale. They are awesome. Star Wars is awesome

So I think this is the only option: www.amazon.com/Bandai-AT-ST-Terrain-Transport-Walker/dp/B00RYSAQLY
1/144 scale
Do you have to put glue
No, glue is not required.
