Thanks God in the 1.8 version the drainhose is easy accesible ! Open the hood , stand beside the car looking forward , slide your arm down next to the powersteering vessel and you can feel / squirt open the hose . I do this check weekly together with the coolantcheck . My 2000 Cowley marvel is still going strong ! Greetings from Holland .
Nice motor ! I had one identical to it same colour. My car I have the now , its another 75 moonstone green. I always clear out auld leaves ect and haven't done this that your doing yet.
It's funny how you are just doing this video I did the Audi a4 ones the other day fitted a second hand scuttle pannel as well the old one was all cracked. Nice useful info mate.👍
Cheers buddy, I hadn't done it for a while and had been trying to get the time to do it for ages! I also found out my top mounts are split at the same time 😖
Ah, so it’s normal for water to get down there? Somewhat relieving for me as that tends to suggest the bulkhead can cope with some water. It’s happened twice in the autumn. Presumably it did drain slowly. Will unblock it now.
Probably worth amending your video title to Plenum *Drain* . Can't believe you didn't a) unclip the ECU (5 seconds) & lift it out the way so you could clean any soppy crud underneath it, and b) "didnae bother" with the other side. Honestly mate, K-BDG might be a better channel name.

There is another plenum drain on the driver's side up near the bonnet hinge to match the one on the passenger side.

I use the spyhole modification
I use the Hoover from the Garage or Auto washing centre because its more powerful
That plenum guard is made by Jules the Rover 75 Guru of Colwyn Bay
Yes it has his name on it :)
@@split_pin He's a great guy - saved me a fortune on my delicious 05 Rover 75 Contemporary Diesel
Really helpful thanks man
Glad I could help 🙂
👍👍👍
What better is a wire clothes hanger, bend it straight and push it through the Drainage both Sides
