You have my respect! I purchased three all white units from this company. It was satisfying to assemble each unit by myself. Although I did enlist the help of my husband for drawer assembly as it was a little tricky. But ma’am my arms and hamstrings were sore for DAYS after having traversed the stairs multiple times to bring up all of the pieces. Lol 😂 After having made my purchases I searched to see if anyone else had purchased from this company. I was looking for alternatives to Swedish self assembled open concept storage. The pandemic has resulted in such items being out of stock at a very popular Scandinavia store and this company provided a good alternative for less. Your closet turned out beautifully! I did purchase the mini chandelier in chrome based on your recommendation. Unfortunately there weren’t any directions included in my package. Waiting to hear from seller. I really enjoyed your video! I just stumbled across your video here after searching for inspiration in transforming a spare room into a dream-walk in closet. You did a fantastic job and it seems you didn't break the bank in the process either! A majority of the manufactured closet systems on the market that I like are super expensive and way past my budget, so I am building my own using assembly required book shelves, 2 old doors, decorative shelves and the rest will be added as I go (things I can easily disassemble if ever a change requires). Again, thanks!

I agree with you regarding why you structured the closet the way that you did. I had the exact same thought and mentality when my husband and I first moved into our current house a little over 3 years ago. We also have 5 bedrooms and I truly preferred a 5 bedroom house (though I possibly could've settled for 4 bedrooms if push came to shove) because I knew I needed (yes truly needed ladies and gentlemen, lol) and wanted a room used as a closet while being able to allow our 2 kids to have their own space and have a room for guests, namely if our parents were coming for a visit without needing to dub one of the kid's room as a guest room. So although I don't anticipate selling my house anytime soon if at all, I was pretty much thinking I would rather use a room as a closet as oppose to CONVERT the room into an actual closet and loose a room. This way, even if I wanted to change the racks around (which I have) or move the shoe shelves which are actually tall bookcases (no regular shelves because I didn't want holes in the wall), I have the flexibility to do so. I can simply move everything out and voila...all I do is pop a bed in there and it's a bedroom. On a side note, it is SO MUCH FUN having my own room closet. It is truly a dream come true and had been a dream of mine long before it started getting a bit trendy from what I'm gathering from watching UA-cam. So yes, I started seeing, watching, and enjoying other people turn a spare room into a closet on UA-cam for entertainment ☺.

So cool, I wanna do the same conversion…DIY saves plenty of $$…taking your time and knowing limitations is key..looks great
This is really awesome work. A good thing about this method is if you ever decide to sell your house, you can easily disassemble and take down those shelves/racks and list that room as another bedroom, which would increase your house's value.

Girl, I absolutely love what you did but I have to fucking say your hair is fucking amazing. I absolutely love it. It looks phenomenal on you. I’ve seen people try to do what you’ve done, but I’ve never seen an executed as well as yours like your hair the style everything is executed perfectly, but no I absolutely love what you’ve done. I actually live in a really old house. It was built like 1700 or something. There’s no storage anywhere in the bedrooms and I have a lot of clothes because it is an old house unfortunate to have really big rooms and this is literally what I am doing right now is I’m turning one of the spare bedrooms because I have six bedrooms, why not use one of the rooms and just turn it into a big luxury closet so that’s what I’m doing and you definitely gave me some really good ideas so thank you

Wow!!! You are awesome. I am a realtor and yes, this is the best way. I plan to do the same to my smallest bedroom. I did not want to convert the room with HARDWARE/WALL installations built in. This is the best way. I will do this in the SPRING. And PROUD OF YOU FOR THE CHANDELIER install. I have installed ceiling fans and changed lighting over the years--- my dad taught me when I was a teen. But, so glad that I saw your closet build..... it's awesome.

I was so hyped for you when you flipped that light switch. I have been wanting to change out some light fixtures but am so nervous. But I keep reminding myself "black, white & ground" how hard can it be. I really think I can do it myself
🤣😂😂 I was so nervous.. I was sooo excited when it actually worked. I felt accomplished. Now I change light fixtures all the time. If you decide to try it, make sure you shut the power off from the breaker and light switch. If you still feel uncomfortable, hire a professional. Good luck 🍀 ❤️🙌🏾
