Personally I think “Tortoise and the Hare” sounds more like Maze Music, especially when the beat speeds up after the “PALIIIIIII” 👀😂

I never thought about it that way!! Wow.....that makes since😂 Ik people think The Tortoise And The Hare sounds more maze like because of the beats switches but I think it fits the Hare and the Tortoise more being its constantly speeding up and slowing down like how its done through out the race in the story. Especially towards the end of the story when it kept switching back in forth showing the Hare running as fast as it could with the tortoise moving slow. But tbh either song would fit either title. These 2 songs are my jam tho! I be jamming when Felix, Seungmin, and Chris's part comes!!!🙌

@@TeddyGreyOS I recommend the korean version still, the english version whenever it is a rap you won't be able to tell that it is english, so might as well go for the korean version. Also in the english can't write as good lyrics since changbin (one of the lyricists) isn't fluent in english and han is only semi fluent. And also imo the korean version just sounds better

Ok this reaction was everything!!! You get hype just like the rest of Stay! They are so crazy talented and there’s just no one like them. They’re one of a kind and untouchable musically in my opinion. Now you need to hear Cypher (Changbin), We Go (3racha), Matryoshka (3RACHA), Just breathe (A 3RACHA collab w/ SKY-HI), N/S, and Easy. i rarely recommend things to reactors but i haven't seen anyone recommend 'Matryoshka' by 3racha yet and i cannot understand why. it still blows my mind to this day even tho its a predebut track. also, as a fellow changbin bias i would recommend 'streetlight' by him - its a very different vibe musically, but the way he raps and approaches the song astounds me

Yes to both of these. Matryoshka is iconic, and Streetlight has saved me more than once. He's dipped his toe into their bangers; it would be interesting to see how he reacts to some of the non-bangers that have a different kind of complexity.
I did recommend Matryoshka more than once. I hope he reacts to it. It is one of my top favorites. Especially as u mentioned when u think about when they actually made it and the fact that it was also like most of their tracks selfproduced....

For this one we know who wrote what part because there's a 3racha performance of it. The verses from start to right before Changbin starts was written by Han, the part from Changbin to Felix was by Changbin and the whole english verses were by Bang Chan.

As a (rather huge) multistan, *SKZ* is the first group that I haven’t *once* lost interest in, and also the first group to become my favorite (also called “ults”) out of all the ones I’ve stanned, so far. I sometimes go on a hiatus from the group’s I stan whenever I get bored, but that’s impossible with SKZ. I also used to not like the idea of having a “favorite” group, but slowly within the years of stanning skz, I’ve come to realize that they are actually my favorite. I still support all other groups, but in *my* opinion, I think SKZ is *def* something else…

I agree with you. I felt weird at first cause I’m in my 30’s and thought I was too old. But age doesn’t matter in music. No one sounds like them. Maybe a group has one or two song similar but since their music catalog is diverse they are bound to have a song similarity to others. But you will ALWAYS know it is SKZ by their sound if you weren’t told ahead of time. I remember my first k-pop was Gangnam Style but I never really listened to more. The early days of SKZ I started seeing YT vids on them randomly and really liked them because of the way they get along it’s each other. They have. Particular sense of humor I find hilarious. Then way back I think in 2019 a BTS song got thrown into my music while it was going through popular music. I can’t remember the song but I really enjoyed it. So I went to the album and continued to listen on the way to work. I got to my office and was like, “has anyone heard of these BTS kids? Their songs bop.” Apparently I was verrrrrrry far behind the times. I just didn’t put SKZ and BTS together. No one probably would. But it definitely led me on a wild journey through the Korean Music and Entertainment industry. Loads of groups to stan, but SKZ will always be at the top. It’s like when you had a cool band in your high school and they were friends with everyone and they always played at parties and then misprint playing and got famous. I think of SKZ like kids I once knew when I was a teen. And along that line, because i was friends with a few bands during high school, JYP’s Day6 comes in at a close 2nd for me. I think they have a unique to them sound too. I hope after military enlistment they can have a comeback.

you're an amazing reactor!! not only are your reactions entertaining but i'm also always surprised at how you catch details in the production while also focusing on the lyrics at the same time. Watching reactions can be a bit frustrating sometimes because you want the reactor to notice every little thing you appareciate about the track but, most of the time, they end up missing things because they were too focused on a particular thing, which is natural, but that doesn't happen with you so i'm actually impressed! hahaha. you memorize melodies so quickly too! props to you!! glad you found stray kids and genuinely enjoy their music ❤

Bang Chan is the primary source of all of their sounds - Han and Changbin are Chans right hand and come through w the lyrics but the sound, the production, the assembly.. It’s all Chan. He’s such an incredible talent!

yo, loving these reactions so far, there are a couple other bands like stray kids that have made a few similar songs but keep with them atm, a song i recommend is ‘we go’
I’m definitely not planning on venturing out of the StrayKids bubble any time soon. Not only because I’m enjoying it but also because I think the anticipation from some for me to finally hear some other bands is starting to turn into rage, and I’m here for it 🙋🏻♂️😂

I know this is an old comment... But I still gotta ask. What other groups are like Stray Kids!?! And I'm not talking about 1st or 2nd gen who have had a lot more time to develop and fine tune their particular sound. I'm talking about 3rd and 4th gen, where they have had around the same amount of time in the industry.
While im at it, if im being honest, I feel in order to say they are "Like SKZ" in any way they really do need to be self produced and on the same level when it comes to their eclectic love of different genres! Otherwise they wouldn't have that lyrical quality that SKZ do. Or that ever changing flow that their discography has that matches my need to have my music fit my mood. Which is a big part of why I love them so much! They talk about real shit, personal struggles and sensitive topics. Plus they never get stuck in a concept or sound. At the same time they always keep their one of a kind style and... SKZness.
lol Groups who have their music done for them lack that because the writer usually has no clue who the artist will be thay ends up singing it. So they just buy songs that "match" to the groups concepts and sound. SKZ are everything I love, while kpop in GENERAL, is not. :( They also need to be close to one another and have a strong bond... Otherwise I don't feel they would have the cohesiveness SKZ is well-known for.
FYI, I'm not trying to say that no one is like them! Definitely not saying that no one is like them either! Quite the opposite, im trying to find another group who IS. I need another group to fangirl over and love just as much! (More comebacks, less time waiting for music I love to come out.... I'm here for it!) Lol I just have yet to see it!
@@ReapingWillow yeah you’re right this was 5 months ago and i was still properly learning and knowing them better but before that i knew them for about two years but never knew as much about them as i do now, and rethinking it what i meant to say was ‘there are other bands that give off the same unique vibe as skz’ because no matter what mood i’m in im always listening to certain songs from lots of bands but now i understand how rare of a group they are and how they originated from 3 teenage kids with big dreams, i guess i spoke too soon. and by ‘unique’ i mean that no group is the same and they all have theyre one to two songs that really stand out but with stray kids it’s very consistent and there’s a lot more that goes on that i only understand now and i didn’t 5 months ago lol. no hate at all and i always respect people who reply and everything i thank you for your time you took to reply to me, i forgot this comment existed but now i do and i’m glad that teddy reacted to we go. there probably is a band from another country that is also emerging like stray kids where every song is produced by a member and written by one and songs will be consistent but i just don’t know yet and i wish i do, kpop as a genre is now how i can respect music from different countries and listen to all types of music because you really cannot judge a book by its cover lol

The first feeling I had when I heard that song was the feeling of being dizzy. I didn't know what was happening and that brought me some sensations I had never felt with music before. And it ends without a final, I think this is the cherry on top of this song, cause they are lost inside of their own, inside the maze of memories and the maze of memories has no final point...
The way my soul ascends to heaven when Changbin comes in on this song. Those sirens in the end are the ambulances collecting us listeners

I love love love all your breakdowns to these songs. Maze of Memories is an incredible song. I also really love that you’re looking at tracks from Cambodian artists ^^ I’m sure tonnes of people have already requested, but if you haven’t already Stray Kids’ Thunderous is so worth reacting to. It’s one of their songs that has the most traditional Korean elements in it - 소리꾼 (the original title) is inspired by Korean traditional pansori music. It was the title track of Stray Kids comeback last summer.

I believe Maze of Memories is a part of the MIROH album (MIROH is such a great song too) the original version has the 9th member Woojin, which has a whole scandal why he got kicked out of the group. But anyways they recently released this nee version without Woojin ✌🏼😇

I am Changbin biased but something about Seungmin's voice here and how it sounds in English really caught my attention.
I love how you were like “you can really hear Felix’s Australian accent when he raps” and my first thought was “wait til he hears Bang Chan’s verse” and then you’re like “he is the most Australian Asian I’ve ever heard” and I couldn’t help but laugh hysterically because yea they both have pretty strong Aussie accents but when they’re talking English Felix’s Aussie accent is actually much stronger than Chan’s but for whatever reason whenever Felix sings or raps his Aussie accent isn’t as strong where as when Chan raps or sings his Aussie accent increases like tenfold and it makes no sense to me but I love it and I’m glad you made a comment about how much Chan’s Aussie accent is really noticeable in this song
Also I love that you mentioned chillinit because I love his music and he’s not super popular at least in America idk about in the UK Ik he’s pretty well known in Australia obviously but the fact you mentioned him.
