By the next update Knocklem's power could literally be over 9000. Maybe achievable with the new passives now, but if the next big update increases level cap and strength that'll be definite. Even moreso if there'll be new passives, like maybe an upgrade to Serenity, or a +75% Attack Iridescent Skill.

personally i think Bellanoir Libero is better. Shes not reliant on a active and has insane stats. give her the food buff plus the HP reg item and she shreds everything. Plus her ability make her dodge stuff same as her active. and Dark Types are really strong in general.
Yea i also forgot i had 20× xp boost . But my strat for oil rig was (full metal armor , purple shield, green ar, and 999+ ammo with jetragon-bellanior-and shadowbeak) i used full pall while i took distant shots with ar burst fire. When they get to 10% hp i switched to the next and let them reheal to about 75. ( really watch there healths during the crushers) Focused on the bit laser turrets so i can fly on jet. Then was easy after that just fly jet till u get lvl 60 since they respawn enemies randomly . (Also does only 1 big crate only spawn?
I also started this run like 2 days ago thats why i wanted to get to lvl 55 for the new update but then stopped yesterday to get sleep came back and hyped myself up for the oil rig then i went in and got 60
There's also 2 new passive skills that are worth nothing demon lord. 30% attack boost and 5% defense boost. There is no downside. Vampiric. Regenerates a portion of damage delt and give the pal nocturnal. Perfect for lv 60 guard my base and nap next to the cooler.

For some of these pals, is it better to have the Passive for their certain element or to have Musclehead/ferocious?
Depends on what element attacks you're using on them. If it's single element then the elemental passives are better, muscle/demon otherwise.

I need to breed Legend, Demon god, Serenity and Vampiric onto him. Vamp is 6% lifesteal, with his active he should heal back all missing hp.

They changed some previous gold traits to the new “rainbow” trait, basically makes them harder to roll

That 5% is huge, a whole 149 points of attack difference for food. Gotta love that
