It’s also kept his game sharper than any of the other LIV guys it seems. Knowing him he probably realized there was less incentive to actually get better with the guaranteed money and 3 round tournaments.
My favorite video was the tour of his home in Texas. Just seeing all of the golf memorabilia he has tells a lot about him and his journey. Augusta means a lot to him and seeing all of his collectables from it tells me he is absolutely driven to win there someday. I think he will. Lots from Wingfoot too.
Agreed. 4-5 years ago , I didn’t like the guy for some reason. Couldn’t say exactly why but he was painted in a different light. Him showing us the real Bryson has made all the difference. Amazing guy amazing character. Doing great things for the game of golf.

One of the greatest golfers of the past 10 years that doesn't get enough recognition
To be fair up until August last year he played poorly for 2 years or so, when he finished 4th at the PGA last year it started to turn his form around, then when he shot that 58 last Summer it all changed in a big way - especially when he got the new Krank driver

That was PGA golfer Boo Weekly. Bryson referenced Boo in an earlier press interview.
@@billmoyer3254 Ben hogan famously said “Why aim for the flag? The middle of the green is always in the same place.” Which I why I mentioned it being a paraphrase. I cannot find any quote credit for your statement regarding Boo, but please provide it if you have it.
Hogan is the undisputed GOAT. Jack a close 2nd. But Ben would have wore him out.
@@Natedoc808 Both are great quotes, Boo Weekly was mentioned by one of the golf announcers on NBC, which was probably where billymoyer heard it.
@@richardbas7574 💯 Ben Hogan also developed the practice as you play strategy and even the concept of a simulator. As a young boy who would ride his bike to the local course to work as a caddy, he would collect course cards from clients and then simulate plying that course from its card at the driving range. Absolute genius and ahead of his time.

A testament to how media can shift reality. One of the nicest guys you could ever meet and they tried to make this guy a villain. Unbelievable golf he is playing at one of the hardest courses out there.
Media was out to get him, but he also has matured significantly since 3-4 years ago.

This man is such a breath of fresh air. The intrigue and eyeballs he gets to the tournaments he plays in are incredible. Bryson deserves all the success and more. As long as he stays healthy, I'll pray that he gets to double digit majors through his career!! Love watching him play this immensely difficult game!

Bryson is such a massively positive force for the game of golf. Although people who were on the fence have finally come around the real story here is what level Bryson has taken his game to after that astonishing 58 round last year. He is probably one of the only guys out there who could do some damage to Schefflers current run, had he played in the same events.
Either way - he wins the UA-cam thing - but whilst doing that he also proves to be the one player who actually takes the game seriously. Validating the balance of the balls for instance is the only sane way of going about the game if approaching it professionally - not doing it is for the mediocre. Bottom line: Bryson is the cats pyjamas in the game of golf.
Bryson has an advantage over PGA Tour players when it comes to some social media & definitely UA-cam. First off he plays less events with LIV than a top 10 or 20 ranked Tour player plays, so he has more time to create content and showcase his game & personality. Secondly he doesn't have the restrictions on him that Tour players do when it comes to NIL (name, image, likeness). NIL was a point of contention for Phil Mickelson, and he discussed it well before LIV ever had their 1st event. Remembering "The Match" played between Tiger & Phil, Phil said he had to pay the PGA Tour $1,000,000 to use his own NIL. Hindsight being 20/20, Bryson made the best decision for himself & his career by signing with LIV. Happy it has worked out for him, and I very much enjoy watching Bryson play to such a high level.
Bryson has been the only one who has made the LIV move work. It’s free’d him up, allowed him to start the UA-cam adventure, get healthy again and really connect fans.

Although he may have initially left the PGA for more money initially, he left at the perfect time whether intentional or not. It opened up the UA-cam golf world for him just as it was becoming more and more popular and now we can actually see the real Bryson and the insights of what a pro golfer goes through in routine in different situations. Overall such a humble dude but his competitiveness is unreal
@@lamarmartin847 Money was always only part of the equation. He largely moved because he can promote himself and his golf in a way that he just couldn't do with the PGA. He also has more free time outside of mandatory events to do whatever he wants to do such as UA-cam. He has also said on multiple occasions that he wants to grow the game of golf and going to LIV makes it easier for him to do that.
Bryson you're an inspiration to young golfers. I went golfing with my son and 2 of his friends and he's all they talked about. Best of luck Sunday.
