Rory McIlroy’s biggest bogey of the day was when he decided not to congratulate Bryson. Rory could’ve learned a lesson from how Bryson went straight to give Schauffele a genuine congratulations after suffering a tough defeat at Valhalla. Completely inexcusable by Rory.

Exactly. Rory isn’t the first to choke & wont be the last. What makes him do special? I don’t feel one bit sorry for him. I remember when Seve won his first British open by one shot over Nicklaus & Crenshaw. Nicklaus missed a 2 footer & the crowd cheered. I was disgusted. But Nicklaus still congratulated Seve & said some nice things to the press afterwards.
Well done BD!!! Much deserved and wrapped to see you win. The BEST golfer in the World by way of skill, marketing the game, how you present yourself, and insight into the game. Keep it going!!

Dude has consistently choked on the biggest stage, had a chance to get it done for the first time in 10 years and once again choked… he should probably be on a suicide watch ffs. If you’re not in the pairing, there’s no need to go congratulate someone. Stop glazing Bryson
Roy is a Jerk and always will be he has always been a jerk he shows it all the time
Well deserved Bryson. You are an absolutely joy to watch. You are one of the few signature players out there. Also on UA-cam you rock.
Well done BD!!! Much deserved and wrapped to see you win. The BEST golfer in the World by way of skill, marketing the game, how you present yourself, and insight into the game. Keep it going!!
He is such a fun, life loving fellow!
This truly showed who Rory is. No interview after no congrats to the winner. Just carried himself very selfishly. Granted he was trying to be focused on winning but no excuse for just leaving after you lost. Bryson on the other hand hitting hands and signing hats a very unselfish athlete and human. I watched him all 4 days he was the same guy all four. He deserved this win.
Bryson has really done a 360 in terms of being someone I can cheer for. Years ago I wouldn’t put him on that list. He’s made the list now though. He’s authentic and is himself. I’m here for it!
Only reason I watch golf! Him and the DJ of the past are so much fun to watch!
His UA-cam videos have won me over. So glad to see him to succeed. An incredible finish!
Congrats Bryson
What a story! What a guy! Thank you for growing the game
Bryson is the new gen Tiger...
It went Sneed... Mickelson... Daly... Tiger... and now we have Bryson...
Damn good to have you
You left out Nicklaus and Palmer
My boy you smoking straight heroin. There will never be another tiger
Lol he's a clown
@@autk he's a clown with 2 us open's, you're a clown that shoots 90 at your local muni lololo

The definition of "living your best life". The smile says it all. This man is grateful and humble. Humility is so great to see these days. Great win Bryson. Well done. Go enjoy yourself!
The most exciting player in professional golf and nobody else is a close second
I feel bad for Rory, but I am so happy for Bryson. I love to watch him play. His passion and enthusiasm for the game are genuine. Congratulations, Bryson!
So happy for this guy didnt like him at all for years. Now he is one of my favorite athletes. Huge goober but he might be the best golfer for golf. Congratulations Bryson!
I’m sure his IQ is double yours.
He's always been a good guy...
@@1362pc Yeah. The media is awful. They misrepresent a lot of people. Now, with YT, players can create their own channels and give their side of things.
How is he a goober/peanut? Bluddy top guy who gives his time for everyone
His IQ is at least double yours. What does that make you?
Adam Scott was and is one of my favourite golfers.
But I always thought he needed to show more emotions like he did when he won the masters.
Bryson showing emotions reacting to his shots is awesome.
Really glad Bryson got this one. I feel like he’s come such a long way as a golfer and a person.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your round of golf today, although it was a bit stressful to watch; can't imagine how stressful that last hole was for you! Thank you so much for the awesome entertainment! Love the excitement and energy you bring to golf!
come on Rory.. you choked central.. but you should ALWAYS stay, congratulate the winner and take your interview come on man.. you're a professional and one of the best to ever do it, act like it
Did he check out after he finished?
Although I agree I also can't blame him, we aren't in his shoes or head. The way the tournament ended was rough
@@stove.d refused statements, and Sergio was only one to stay and congratulate him, maybe an LIV thing idk.. ha
@@Zizou19989 i hear ya
He's a whiney bee atch
Bryson is literally the man! I love how open and accessible he is. He gets it. and it only makes me want success for him more and more!
Spot on!
Best major since mickelson vs stenson, absolute entertainment, youtuber wins the US OPEN ❤😂😅
It’s awesome how we see new UA-cam people following golf and Bryson!! Hats off to the kid!!!
Ordering one length clubs as I watch this. Let’s go Bryson!
Man, I love this guy. I just wish the best for him in the future and I know he’s just gonna crush it. Hope you forever. Keep playing your game brother and never change. The peoples CHAMP!!!!!!!!!!
A playoff with Rory would have been pretty surreal. Gotta feel for Rory missing TWO putts down the stretch he’d probably consider a gimme.
Bryson earned this one.
Bryson you are an inspiration!! Representing a different take on golf and the grit you showed on the last round is something out of this world. Congrats man!
Glad I discovered his UA-cam years back which demonstrated that he’s actually a super likable guy with extreme dedication both to his friends and his craft. He grinded this out and it’s well deserved.
No chance for Ryder Cup is a shame. No chance for Olympics is a crime! Congratulations Bryson!!
That is a crime! He is now one of the best!
He can qualify for Ryder cup but not the presidents cup
@@mattmunger5667 what a joke that is - we get to watch Chris Kirk and Sam Burns instead of Bryson and Koepka. Int'l team is going to be even more hurt witout LIV guys
I started golf about 4 weeks ago! Learnt a huge amount from this guy - from what I can tell he's bringing golf out of the dark ages for the regular guy
Imagine Bryson shows up to The Open later this season with a junior set and wins by 5 strokes
😂
Ace Bryson, looking forward to more UA-cam videos man....great Character
What a fun tournament to watch !
Bryson, your interaction with the challenged young man when you came off the 15(?) green was wonderful. Rory did it too. That was great.
Golf has a new Tiger. Gotta love this Byrson guy.
He's in his 30's with 2 majors calm down
@@isambo400I think he’s referring to the excitement he brings.Bryson makes tournaments fun to watch

LAUGHABLE
I'm 40 years old, never voluntarily watched a second of golf on TV, haven't swung a golf club since my early 20s, and here I am, watching golf on UA-cam, because of this guy. Watching someone so skilled have so much fun doing what he loves...it's just fascinating to watch. So pumped to see him win, and I was on the edge of my seat watching him come back from being down by two strokes after Rory's putter was on fire on the front 9.
I don’t care about Rory not speaking to the media, but the fact that he didn’t go congratulate Bryson and shake his hand is completely inexcusable. When he looks back on it, it will go down as one of Rory’s real regrets.
Why does the media need their say in everything, Rory doesn’t want to talk to the media, so what!! Media makes heroes and losers, with their reporting. When I read Rory didn’t speak with the media? That’s his business and his choice!! So what! He owes them nothing!
One of the best personalities in sport right now..just such a wholesome guy
The maturity and openness he has, he’s calculated and thoughtful in all of these answers. Couldn’t have had a better champion this year.
