Roland is such a genius I respect and love his music you really don’t see artists like him anymore I appreciate everything Roland does what a amazing talent gifted artist.
I've loved everything he has done since The Hurting! Memories Fade so speaks to the angst of my childhood...so in a way, I guess I've grown up with Roland and while he writes his messages...he speaks for me, too. Well done Roland! Just an awesome and talented artist.
Let's face it, Roland and TFF were the best music to come out of the UK since the Beatles, Big Chair and Sowing The Seeds of Love are still two of the best sounding, produced, mixed and mastered albums of all time. PERIODForget MP3 and Apple compressed garbage, listen to the original CD's with a good set of earphones/headphones, they both are still light years ahead of the computer corrected mush that now passes for music.
Super Stig23.. you are so right.. I did just that ..purchased a high quality set of head phones made myself some tea..and focused my attention exclusively to listening with no distractions...sheer heaven to the auditory senses. TFF is not background music..you give your undivided attention to the integrity of the lyrics, arrangement and orchestration..they ARE light years ahead of what passes as music to day...hmm..with a few exceptions..Be Well.
Totally agree with you. Came across this album only recently because it was not released in Brazil. I wish it had and I bet it would've been a big big success!! Why do you think it was overlooked this way? It's just GREAT! Each and every song is wonderful. Also agree that it's been one of Roland's best work.
A journey for the sake of a journey--- But thankfully, it's a lucid journey. A marriage of interior and celestial destinations. Great extremes? Reminds me of what's possible. Truth is always the thing... Spellbinding. When you finally capture it, if only for yourself, it feels so right. Sharing it is brave. Celebrating it? Crazy. And wonderful as well.
Awesome interview. I watch a lot of these. that 144p aswell though lmao, but then again, thats what it actually would have looked like back then. I love this stuff.
You are so true... :) thank you! Indeed, 'Elemental' and 'RATKOS' albums were fascinating results from Roland's personal quests as you wrote. And in that context, still, Curt might've been the person he wanted the most to understand what he found out through those struggles of his... but I'm sorry if I'm wrong. :)
Oh, and if I could get out of my head I would probably be posting something on Brittney Spears instead of Tears For Fears. But that's not likely anytime soon.

Raoul and The Kings of Spain is an amazing CD. Love it. Still very beautiful.

Liked their debut the best. Things became increasingly bloated and overproduced thereafter.
Adorável Roland...💕💕💕😘😘😘
