You truly motivate me. If you can get rid of books and other items, then I can get rid of a ton of paperwork (recipies, old school work from children, also many years of calendars, appointment books, etc. etc,) I've been holding onto for years, WHY, have I been holding onto it for years. It's always bothered me, and its always been in the way. When i seen you getting rid of books, I'm knew it was time to get rid of a lot of this paperwork, thank you

I love how you are breaking this HUGE task down into bit-size sections, so you stay on task and don't get overwhelmed with the thought of doing it all...."so I don't do anything"... This is really the very best de-cluttering series and should be seen by EVERYONE! (I'm sharing it with as many as I can.) The glass window pane on your wall is beautiful...have you thought of putting an outside scenery of some type behind it so it looks like a window looking out to a place you like? and it's wreath ---"reeth" LOL

Please do a home tour at the end of this😘

Sophia you are really getting good at decluttering. My husband and I have been decluttering right along with you (different stuff but daily all month). I am still buzzing from yesterday’s school book declutter. I have actually started letting go of school books! I have some books that I own two different editions of the same book from going back to school mid career and being required to have the newer edition. Why did I keep the older one? Just to look at it and know I had it, like I am living in some kind of book museum! They are heading out the door! Thank you for being so brave to start this journey years ago. There is so much more I could say but I won’t, just Thank you!

Sofia, Great job in the basement, looking awesome! I encourage you to get rid of the plain wreath, they are real dust collectors, I have purged so many of my dust collectors (I really hate to dust) and those wreaths are really kind of outdated now. It would look great if you enlarged some family photos and put them in the glass window frame on the wall instead of the plain wreath. Love all of your videos!

Awesome challenge! Good job on your progress 👍 I am sure I can find at least 30 bags worth, even though I did this a year ago..the problem is when I drop off a donation to GoodWill, I have to remember to drive away after drop off and do not go inside and buy MORE stuff..I was getting rid of LOTS of stuff, but then going inside and finding lots of new stuff😱

This is so funny because I see myself doing exactly what you are doing. I hold on to things and then all of a sudden I go in a decluttering frenzy and just let go off all the things that I kept for no reason. Things that end in my basement for " later" never make it back upstairs. It feels good to donate it. Sophia, this is so inspiring!!! :)

Hi Sophia! I've decided that we must be twins who were separated at birth because I am at exactly the same stage of decluttering as you are, with the same attitude towards stuff - why am I hanging on to all of this? I'm going through my books again and I've just sent a ton of picture frames to the charity shop because I didn't like them when we were given them when we got married! It's our 32nd anniversary this year. I am loving these videos.xx

Your doing so good. I said the same thing about the frame when you showed it; looks like cigarette burns.
Wreath has the long e sound.
Anyway, I remember when I hit the stage your at and I thought, “wow, I should have had a garage sale!” However, the sooner you relieve things of your surroundings, the easier it is to let go of. I think you are doing an amazing job showing that it really does take time. I always look forward to your videos and I’m going to miss the daily uploads.

Congratulations you have done a lot of progress. Me too have difficulty in finding frames I like. Whenever I declutter I feel so much better and like you I always find something to let go off. If I may suggest, I would keep the small windowsills as clear as possible and since the ceiling is low, would refrain from putting things on top of shelves/cupboards.
