Great job with the music. Keep it out when the vehicle noise is part of the experience and stick it in for the b role type stuff.
Thanks for all the content.
Agreed! :)
Gotta switch to electronic music over casio keyboard rock presetting #2021
This song is used constantly lately. Everyone’s got an epidemic sound subscription
I prefer just the sounds of nature, engine & metal etc with these videos.
This way it feels more like we’re in the experience.
Yeah the music is obnoxious and disingenuous.

You keep getting me more and more excited for my bronco reservation!!
Love hearing those scratches and scrapes. Can't wait to take delivery of mine!!!
Great to see them actually taking these things on hard lines on hard trails. Really using the sliders and the skids, getting off camber, stuffing wheels, sharp turns under lots of driveline tension, wheels off ground, etc etc. This is the sort of wheeling I do with my H3 (the skids/sliders are covered in scrapes/dents), so it's great to see something that could really be a replacement to my H3 someday.
@Toasty I'd say if you can afford the bronco just go with the bronco. It has way better engine options, better transmission options, stronger diffs, and based on the durability testing we're seeing, likely stronger steering and axles/CVs. If you want an H3 that can go the really tough trails, you'll want a 09-10 with Adventure package. Only those years with that option got the stronger front diff and front locker (broncro front diff is still stronger with the Sasquatch package). Look for the 2 locker buttons on the dash. The adventure package also comes with the 4:1 T-case. Later years come with larger diameter tie rods and slightly longer half shafts up front that have less issues (support a "leveled" ride height better) and other issues worked out. (early i5's had issues). I found an 09 adventure with manual transmission and i5. If you can track down a V8 from those years with adventure (automatic only) that would probably be the best possible find.
I would suggest immediately installing heavy skid plates, rock sliders, ( schwarttzy.com/h3-hummer/ ) a reinforced steering rack mount kit ( www.amazon.com/Steering-Mount-HUMMER-COLORADO-CANYON/dp/B079ZJ1X5C ) and 315/75-16 rubbers. Adjust the front ride height to "level" with the torsion bar adjustment bolts. Keep a spare half shaft in the back. My manual transmission has been flawless but if you get an auto it might be worth having it gone through with some of the "bulletproofing" upgrades that the aftermarket offers for the weak 4L60E.
I've taken mine up some pretty rough roads in Colorado. Suran Wrap. Eagle Rock. Chinaman Gultch. Holy Cross. Wheeler Lake.
What a beautiful car design. If I ever did own a 2021 Bronco, I don't think I'd ever actually craw boulders and risk damaging the SUV, but I would like to take it to the beach, park it facing away from the water, drop the rear-seats and set up a sleeping bed area, chill and listen to the waves as the sun drops over the horizon.💙
Before or after the you visit the mall?
I'm really enjoying the content y'all are putting out! It's really showcasing what a brand new Ford bronco can do with out of the factory mods can do. If i have one suggestion is after you take these broncos through these tough terrains is to take the same broncos and put them through some serious highway tests to show what a brand new bronco is made of😎💪. Love it guys! I'll see y'all in the next video🤜
Perfectly done. Great job Ford, not a gimmick, a legitimate call back to a legend. The Bronco looks like an amazing overlanding companion. Thank you for these videos! #subbed
Will be interesting to see how folks like the turbo motors deliver power at slow speeds. Ford seems to have done a very nice job!
The low end torque has been working well for several years now. Remember the turbochargers were not just added to the new style engines, these engines were designed with The 2.7 is a great example.
Thsoe 2.7 turbo been around for multiple years and can take lots of beeting and tunning.
Torque at low rpms is same as Chevy 6.2l (2k - 3.5k) .
I would imagine 10spd with high axle gearing keeps rpms up at optimal.
Modern cars have really tiny turbos that spool very quickly allowing low rpm torque
I have the 2.7 in my 2019 f150. You'd never think there were turbos under the hood unless you looked. They actually deliver more low end torque than many V8s. Turbo technology has come a long way in terms of power and spool times. Small turbos can make crazy power compared to small turbos years ago
@@AntiATF the twin scrolls (compression inlets for turbos) that come directly off the block cut lag down by more than half
Keep rolling the good stuff @bronconation, and @ford! Still get the stank eye from other Jeep owners but I really like what y’all put out! Would switch over if I could have a second vehicle😉😢
More and more impressed with every video I watch on these badboys.
As someone who lives among the granite mountains of California, I can say this video demonstrates why Ford should have had a light tan Bronco color. 😉
Yep I want it in tan also. To hide the dirt
@@brent1041 You mean to make it look dirty all the time!
I would have loveddddd that
Ral 8000 color
Maybe Ford will sell cans of spray on dirt!
Finally, some footage of the 4-door with the soft top down. I want more info on the soft top. Also want a factory snorkel intake option with elevated vent hoses on the drivetrain components.
Some nice camera work here. I liked the camera attached to the underside. No question the Bronco is plenty capable. Ford anticipated what people would say about Bronco vs Jeep an built with some rock crawling ability. I'm waiting to see how a modded Bronco fares against a modded Jeep in the same price range.
Poorly. While absolutelyamazing for a ifs it's still has the classic problem of a front engined ifs that at a certain point lifts and larger tires start taking away from articulation the bronco hits this with the Sasquatch packages lift and 35s dropping it's RTI down to 9.7 from the Badlands 10 the only real way to get around this with ifs is to build wide mid engine vehicles so the arms can be mounted as close to center as possible
Metal hitting rock is somthing I dont think I will be doing when I get my 40k+ Bronco
Agreed.
My thoughts exactly. I am a pretty conservative off roader. I want to explore and see the world ,but I don't personally feel the urge to mount every rock. I don't need to prove myself to anyone either. 97% of the time I will be on pavement anyway.
@@thedirtbag7 It's not about proving yourself to anyone..
@@thedirtbag7 most roads worth taking offroad aren’t easy. Not every road is an easy fire road
I miss my ‘74 but looking forward to the 2021...
You guys are getting better at producing these videos. Well done!
Who else is super happy and excited that there bring back this beast
Thank you for posting this video!
This is the first video I've seen of the new Bronco on truly challenging terrain. The others I've seen have mostly been driving on unimproved backroads.
I must say that I'm fairly impressed with the Bronco's capability. It seems to have real skidplating and rocker protection, as well.
I still think the Wrangler Rubicon is the best stock off-roader currently (or possibly EVER) made, but the Bronco is indeed a worthy competitor.
Ya Bronco! I wanna see more of the cactus grey color, it's my favorite!
I really like that cyber orange myself.
Yeah
You can see any color as long as it’s black
Henry Ford.....
Nah Area 51 is best
The hideous carbonized grey
@Joe Horvath i love the look of the 2 but i would probably go for the 4 door with manual and sasquatch if they offer it for the manual
Love this Bronco!!
Sounds like they brought in Will to play the cowbell. I got a fever for a 2021 bronco!
4dr testing is good to see, but I really need to see to see more videos of the 2dr testing😁 or just send me a test 2dr bronco and I’ll post videos for y’all.
I think they're doing 4 door testing since the 2 door will have the better clearance due to the wheel base distance.
No, don’t think they’re trying to hide anything just trying to promote/compete against Jeeps #1 seller the 4dr. I just think the 2dr. Looks better, and the wait is killing me :) My reservations has been made, but it can’t come soon enough.
Honestly they'll probably sell more 4 door Broncos.
6% of Jeep sales are 2 door
I am planning on doing it with my bronco (Badland/Sasquatch) are you guys on 35s? great video by the way!
It seems like the 2 door exterior is longer sometimes the angle it is in is the wheel base or the outside length ?
This video let's me know that I'm going to feel really confident my new Bronco will get me to my local mall and back without any issues... that god for that...
Im wondering what Trim package they running on these Broncos
So is a sasquatch package a must for average off-roaders ? I'm looking into stock broncos as far as offroading goes.
Brad Lovell for the win.
Good job Ford, getting him!
Still not convinced on IFS for serious rock crawling, not enough articulation. The new Bronco looks great for over landing.
Have you seen the sway bar disconnect feature?
The purpose of the squeaky scene? To show the bolt that came loose?
What trims are these? Options?
Show me how the 2dr seat moves for back seat entry
What are the models and features on those 4 doors?
Did you guys use a winch at all?
These are a little over priced but will still sell like crazy. I think people are really getting pretty sick of the hyper aggressive headlights/grill look most vehicles have. This definitely looks more neutral from the front and I appreciate it. Standard 4x4 is a huge plus too.
radical bro dude.
How is it handled on the street, the highway ??? I truly hope it will be much better than any Ford SUV on sale to date !!!
Peter McKinnon’s theme song!!! Hahaha
Whats better the 2 door or the 4 door
lookin good
Anybody know how much is the High Package cost ?
So whats the deal with the bronco running a 6-point cage in it??:
Donde esta part dos
Congratulations Ford, you are the new leader in this segment, I own a 12 Rubicon and a 16, 150 with a 5.0, the 150 is miles ahead in terms of drivability at highway speeds. The independent front axle should deliver a better , livable vehicle. I may go down to one vehicle for everything use! Knocked it out of the park!
Finally started airing down..
Big difference comparing to the Moab where they've had more struggle on fully inflated tires.
Were they? I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t. When Jeep took journalist on the rubicon, they said they’d all normally air down, but wanted to show what it was if someone drove there, did the trail and just drove home. Odd, I know
what models are these
Peter Mckinnon's intro theme song at the beginning hahaha
It’s literally the most annoying song on epidemic sound.
2021 Bronco should be the reward for surviving 2020. I want a gun metal grey 2 door with orange accents and that brown leather interior
Why is there a hand print in the middle of the hood?🤔
What kind of hand/foot print 6:15 is that on the hood? Did everyone survive this trip?
YETI
🤣
Ever wonder why they've got a sasquatch package?
I am beside myself..and I like it
Can't help but think what this video would have looked like with a solid front axle.
0:00 Peter McKinnon needs a Bronco now...
was wondering where I heard that music from
I love that you brought a Wrangler with you as your recovery vehicle.
I highly doubt that, wrangler probably break down going to the gas station.
DOS IT COME WITH A FRONT DIFF OPTION. IF NOT,,STIK IT..
Thats a massive bend in the metal
Shit be F'd up on the low rider Bronco. Hell, they even show you how F'n low it is and how much scraping and dragging it is doing.
I wonder how the Bronco's independent front suspension compares with the Wrangler Rubicon's solid axle over this terrain?
Not good. Lack of articulation and easy to snap front end suspension parts such as the Tie rod
man i want one so bad, too bad the waiting list is long!
Lots of skid plate scraping, looks like a lift will be first order of business.
yeah, especially on technical trail like this
1st order,would be sell it,,buy something with 2 diffs..
@@phantomwalker8251 they come with two locking diffs... what are you talking about?
Is any of these cars equipped with the manual transmission? That's what I would like to see.
Yes, 7spd manual comes with 2.3l engine.
Jeep offers trail badges, it would be kind of cool if Ford would do that with the Bronco
I think it’s because Even the base model bronco is already good at off-roading, there really wouldn’t be a reason to have a trail badge lol
They need to make a pickup truck version of this. 100% would get my money if they make it.
It’s called the Ford Ranger
I think its called the ranger. Lol
But I know what you mean. A ranger that doesn't look gay af
Do anyone know what type of Bronco trim and spec's they used on the 4- door one, I'm looking to reserve one
Bad lands I think. Sasquatch package. I think I'm get the 2 door black diamond with the 2.3 4 cyl 7 speed manual
@@Jv19979 i think so too, and yes either the badlands or black diamond with 2.3l manual with the sash package, hopefully with enough more complaints they do the 2.7 bc I read the other day the 4 cyc EcoBoost engines are being fought in a lawsuit against Ford for known issues
@@kurthkovacevic5327 the 2.3 ecoboost Is a very reliable engine. The 1.6 eco boost is the only one that is over heating and ford has fixed the issue
Are these the Badland models on 33's? BTW..Awesome video!
That’s just the refresh rate of the camera on led lights nothing wrong with the lights on the bronco
The soft top and 2 door had 33 in tires the hard top had 35 s
That Peter Mckinnon intro song though.
Okay, when will we see the WildTrack in action in the sand!!!!!????
I tend to like an over-built rig for less carnage. Especially on a new vehicle.
I want to see a stock height black diamond trim level on the Rubicon!!!
I want too see any of them in my driveway
Seems like they did a great job. I wouldn’t want the first few years of it tho. And by then it will be just about car I might look at 1 in a few years for a daily driver but my jeep will always be my trail smasher
In a few years it will have gone through a few body styles lol. They used to take time perfecting trucks. Now they completely redesign them every damn year
Are these trucks basically destroyed after these runs? I am hearing a lot of parts scraping things lol
They were pretty banged up, a lot of body damage. There are pictures on the forum
Are these stock high-end Broncos?
Yes
Chevy really shit the bed with the new Blazer, should have followed the offroad crowd. Bronco tearing it up!
That trailing link bushing is squeaking like hell..
I really like these Broncos, but I don’t trust Fords reliability as a previous Ford owner and Tacoma owner now. What should I do?!
I’m a Toyota guy. But this bronco is calling my name. Haha.
Well its not a Wrangler Rubicon, but I love the fact that the Wrangler isn't the only real orv in the US!!
This video scream Warranty Voided 😆
Anyone else notice the bolt by the lower control arm that’s loose.
No that’s the camera moving
not loose
What brand tires are the 35s and 33s
Unfortunately I think they are Goodyear.
Tires only $1200 to swap I’ll buy some non Goodyear before driving off lot at my Ford dealership I know Badyear already got the money but I just can’t drive on them
🤔Maybe he-s right ! I just might Need a bronco.
👍👍👍
CAN'T WAIT FOR THE POWER WHEELS VERSION GOING TO BLOW THE REST AWAY!!!
IT CAN WAIT
interesting testing......I noticed you did the easy lines instead of the hard ones why was that? If your attempting to become the off road king this isn't the way to do it.
With IFS, that’s all they could do to not embarrass themselves haha!
Maybe because it was an all stock vehicle? I don't know how many Wranglers with a factory setup you are going to see taking the hard lines, SFA, IFS, whatever. They are there to test capability of a vehicle that is going to be on pavement 99% of the time. If you are inclined to go climb boulders, you are not doing it with a factory setup on your daily driver. If they just wanted to destroy the thing, they could have done that in 5 minutes. None of these newer vehicles are tough anymore. Too much thin metal and plastic.
Nasty 😆 camera person farts at 5:06 I’m like that’s not a sound the bronco made 😆🤦🏾♂️
Could just be the tire treads with some slip on the rocks with lower pressure.
Its the trail granola mix.
Cho Vue the sound is centered. Not coming into the camera you can tell 😆 not big deal just funny editing team miss it 😆
Sounded wet.
Thats wind noise the mic on the camera is picking up you children.
Great video, but I wish to hear the 2.3 engine sound and exhaust
So does the 2 door bronco has a shorter wheelbase than the 4 door?
They look capable but i just don’t think it can out crawl a solid axle Jeep rubicon. Just physics due to broncos front independent front suspension causing the change in ground clearance. I’m sure it’ll crawl over most of the same obstacles just dragging the belly a lot more. The dragging will probably stop a lot of owners from attempting said obstacles. Just my two cents. I prefer fords over other makes but for the type of terrain I wheel I would lean towards a solid axle Jeep. But new broncos do look awesome.
Time to join BRONCO NATION forum...
can't wait to begin seeing mods on forums😁
All the scraping sounds pretty harsh.
X1 italy please
How about retro "Bronco" die cast, chrome, script badges, for the fenders, ala, the new style, Mopar muscle car, "Challenger". I think that would look great, on certain Broncos.
I see the capability love it but i need to see some full throttle, limiter bouncing, heavy hitting, mud, sand, all of the above engine durability..
They have other videos showing this
@Dean Toma hear JL squeak all the time offroading
real question is how long those turbo's will last without them failing or throwing codes.
You know what'd be a cool video? "Bronco drives on freeway" so we can see how that goes and how loud it gets.
You'll get plenty of those when press cars become available for reviews.
That’s all people will use them for anyway, coming soon to a mall near you!!!
Was gonna do a TJ project wanted the durability of a inline 6. Sold my '68 Bronco years ago,..in 2008 scary times. This just hits all the marks, just real skittish about the durability of that 2.7. ..Is it gonna be a CGI block iron block like the F-150,....or is the frickin bean counters at Ford gonna win out and make it an aluminum block...?????
It will be iron block, can safely run 450whp and 500wtq with just e50 mix tune.
Bronco is the new Jeep.
SOLD!
This is going to put jeep out of business
Free skidplates for life, for those that do it!
