Hola Jasón from England - and thanks mate for turning me onto Spanish guitar. Thanks to you, I added a Spaniard to my guitar collection and love the sound. I had a reached a plateau with my metal string guitar journey and you got me over it. Love your teaching style - and the band!

Headed off to Spain for a few months and while I can't hold my own with a guitar yet (I just started two months ago), I' might be able to bring something to the "mesa" thanks to you. I love your approach. Freeform is a way to create beautiful sounds -- and that's what it's all about. Thanks!

This is really great. I've only been playing 2 1/2 months, but I could follow easily and everything you did built on skills I have been developing. I feel like you've given me a supplemental way of playing with the guitar experimentally rather than always just following a rigid lesson plan or memorizing the next Etude. I really appreciate this!

Awesome! I am 47 years old and started playing guitar this year. I have only ever played the bagpipes many years ago. Every time I get tired of learning/practicing chords or trying to get my sausage fingers to manipulate the strings properly, I jump on and find one of your videos. It recharges me and gets me so motivated when I hear "the beautiful" sounds coming from my guitar with my sausage fingers! Thank you!

Also yet another beautiful lesson. I think a big part of what makes you sound a little different from the flamenco players is you use a classical guitar, with the much darker and deeper tones, unlike the very bright flamenco guitars, which can sound deep, and do, but not like the classical guitar. The flamenco without timing is the, according to the professional flamenco player, Juan Martin, is called in Spanish, 'Toque Libre', or play free, meaning outside of the compass, such as a rumba. Cheers mate, best regards from Europe:)

An incredible lesson Jace ! I Love it ! A mix of everything to build more on! Wish I were not so busy at work or I'd give this a try (my guitar is right behind me-where I go, so does my guitar, I WFH). What if tossing in a G chord after the Am? Work out the same or close, notes on the G string to expand? Just an idea to expand the chord progression. Thanks for the Awesome Inspiration ! I shall being looking for it on Patreon !

Hi Paul yes that’s exactly right. Including the G and F chords from the “Andalusian cadence” will be perfect. As somebody who has been playing for a while, you will have many tricks you can include in this concept. This is just the most basic version- keep adding to it! Well done!
