True Romance is Tarantino’s best script; every A list actor in Hollywood wanted a part in it, even a small one
What people don't seem to get about this scene is Dennis Hopper's character is trying to save his son's life. He knows he's dead no matter what, and he knows the longer he's alive the more likely it is they'll get information out of him, so he insults a mafia Don in front of his men knowing the Don will have no choice but to kill him.
Spiros Vondas and Tony Soprano in the same room
Proper introduction to Quentin! RIP Hopper! Have this on VHS.
Robert De Niro was going to play Blue Lou Boyle. In the end, I believe he was not needed.
He insults the entire Cicilian race , brilliant scene
Is Dennis Hopper playing the same character from Speed? lol
Great lines. "Your Son, the Cowboy, he went in there Blazing".
Everything about this scene is pure gold.
This fucking scene is so well written, acted, directed, edited and scored that it brings a tear to my eye. Beautiful film making.
One the best scenes in any movie ever.
Christopher Walken is such an amazing character actor - he can talk funny, he can be cool and hilarious yet he's superb at being sinister, intimidating and frightening.
People say Walken talks funny
"hrmm... i'm getting angry... asking the same question a second time" walkens delivery of this line is so chilling. you knew instantly this guy was capable of killing.
This was the best moment of the career of both actors, and having together in the same scene is not just a gift, is a dream come true.
“I don’t believe you.”
One of the best "dances"..between 2 legendary actors (RIP Dennis Hopper)...Thats why the music is added..at the start.."Can I have that Chesterfield now..?"
How good are these two Men here? ❤
Best voice of all time
". ..I implore you, not to go down that road with him..."
