Just put my 350z back on the road after sitting for 8 months, gave her a full service, and was given a clear inspection certificate. Went to the bank yesterday and when I came out and started the engine, the AC compressor blew up on me! Poured a lot of money into this car and not sure if I want to bother fixing it again and putting in MORE $$! But, I likely will!
Quick update: need to replace the ENTIRE air con system - pipes and compressor blew and damaged the condenser. Gonna cost upwards of $1500....and the dealer tells me it could take unto a YEAR to get all the parts! 😞
@@javierpereida7832 - well, considering I'm no mechanic and certainly don't have the means to pull everything apart, or the knowledge, dealer was the safest option (work's guaranteed for a year too). I agree, most dealers are a scam, but the one I deal with has always done right by me.
Guys I have 350Z 2008 I want to replace the AC compressor but does anyone knows how much Pag Oil I need to add to it? I'd really appreciate your help. Last year my new Compressor blew up mostly due to the wrong amount of Pag Oil which was added to it. If you have any idea or can help I will be grateful
Hey I installed the ac compressor on my 05 350z brand new oem plugged it in charged it to 00.55kgs and the ac compressor won’t kick on do you got any tips?

How long did it take to do the job? That way I know to at least double the time for me to do the job. I need to put one in.
I wish I had a robin air but also they are expensive though 😢
Great video
Thank you sir. Much appreciated
Appreciate this !
Your welcome glad it helped
Are remanufactured compressors as good as new ones?
When changing one always get a new one remanufactured ones aren’t bad but they’re more likely to cause you problems earlier down the road
especially with the Zs!!

have you found any fixes, i have the same issue
@@davidle2047 no sadly
Same issue. Hoping to find a solution
Do you have enough pressure? You might have a refrigerant leak. If you don’t have enough refrigerant or enough pressure the compressor won’t kick on.
@@supjxy check out my other comment it might help. Good luck.
If he can do it with one hand I can do it with two
What year z is it
