You should make sure what speed you’re recording at, personally I think SP is the best choice for VHS generation loss videos so that you go further than the 8th generation
@Nik’s Vintage Things I'll have to try that to see if there's any difference. The results were similar to The Together Forever Rick astly one. Though mine never fully lost the colorburst signal.
@Nik’s Vintage Things It looks like the other one is mono. The way to tell is that there will be pairs of two rca adaptors for the inputs and outputs as opposed to three. Also, rf is not capable of Stereo, so it shouldn't make a difference.

A song named forget is pretty ironic for demonstrating real vhs generation loss
Yo
The audio is alright for some generations but when it gets to gen 11 it really starts to deteriorate.
The audio held up pretty well throughout the video
Except that it part of it mutes for a second on generation 23
I love this song!
If you wanna know the song. Here’s the link ua-cam.com/video/vOreqez4v9Y/v-deo.html
@@niksvintagethings Thanks!
0:02 youtube in this tv???
Yeah. Even shoddy CRT TVs can run youtube
It sounds like minecraft village sound
Yes, he was playing Minecraft at the time
Holy shit this is cool!
change quality to 144p for more vhs
How did you get the vcrs to drop the picture once the signal got bad. After Gen 8 My generation loss begins to get dropouts and tracking issues.

@Nik’s Vintage Things I used sp but I was also using composite instead of rf. Also both of my versions are HI FI but one is in poor condition.
Maybe connect the VCRs with rf/coaxial instead of composite

hello, can you fix it? if i program my VCR to AV1 i listen only audio, video is dark and i can see it.
use another codec then
Hi fi or mono vcr?
I only know that one of my VCRs is HiFi, not sure about the other one though
@Nik’s Vintage Things It looks like the other one is mono. The way to tell is that there will be pairs of two rca adaptors for the inputs and outputs as opposed to three. Also, rf is not capable of Stereo, so it shouldn't make a difference.
