  • Peter Sissons with the Nine'o'clock News on Monday 28 April - three days to the general election and the campaign is at full pace. Reports:
    1) Robin Oakley on the party leaders in the final days.
    2) Jon Sopel following John Major touring the four nations of the UK. This report led to a series of out-takes when Jon Sopel was trying to do his piece to camera in Belfast.
    3) Carolyn Quinn from Paddy Ashdown's tour and rally in Oxford.
    Later:
    4) Peter Sissons interviews Tony Blair live in the studio.
    5) Anne Perkins' Campaign Desk, including Brian Taylor on the election in Scotland, The Times's decision not to endorse a party, the Natural Law Party's campaign, and a poster falling off the wall behind Tony Blair.
    6) An election briefing on the future of Europe from David Shukman.
    7) Robin Oakley gives his round-up of the day.

    It's like the last few days of the good old days before the utter ruin of the Labour regime. 13 years of misery.
