Would also look cool with stained wood showing the grain a bit.

Is that pipe foam nitro safe? The finish on the guitar will absorb that foam into the clear over time amd leave black marks if it isn't.

Not a bad design. Better than a flimsy rack. Enjoyed watching

You are definately right about buying crap on amazon far better to build one yourself and even learn a little on the way. Great video . I`m going to do the same or similar anyway now , thanks for the inspiration.

update. I built myself the multi-guitar stand after watching your video. Using up-cycled materials from around the house. I only had to run to the store for some foam and some sanding paper. thank you sir. for this. cheers to you and your growing collection.

Nice - I like the roller idea (don't think you get that with the china cheapo racks). Thanks!

I see a clip of a guy walking through a hardware store without a mask and my anxiety kicks in, what has the last year done to me...

This is pretty good man! And a lot less space than the ones u buy. QUESTION: Does this work for V shaped guitars? How would u make it fit? Don't want the points digging into the floor.

Make a triangle bit of wood that would go onto the bottom of the rack that matches with your v shaped guitar and put that gas pipe insulation around it

THANK YOU for creating a "how to" multi guitar rack video for NORMAL people who have simple wood tools. - FYI, there are a couple of IDIOT DYI's videos that use very high end, pricey wood tools that only a professional custom furniture builder would have. What the what??

you really should use a dust mask while sanding, sawdust is harmful for your lungs.

I know right? Plus using 2x4 when a simple triangle of plywood and three crossbars would do the same makes it chunky and heavier than necessary. The top rack look like it needs a dentist.
