Ayioko - Osibisa

From the band that gave the world, "World Music" here is "Ayioko" from their last studio album that came out in 2009, "Osee Yee". In fact on the CD too it was printed Osibisa Fourth Generation. But the sound of the original band was still there though not in all the songs. In 2009 Osibisa embarked on a 40'th Anniversary Tour too and touched Chennai in the process and did we go for the concert? All details are here in my post from my older blog - subashsworld.b...

Besides Cocoa, Osibisa the greatest export from Ghana. Osibisa is 51 years today and still rock and play for their audiences the world over. Teddy Osei one of the founding members of the band fronts and still plays in the band, spreading happiness.

Feyja Dean, daughter of Roger Dean has done the artwork for the album continuing in her father's tradition. Roger painted the albums covers of all or most of Osibisa's albums.
