I've been to two Professional soccer games ( Rangers v Clydebank and Fulham v Boro ). No problems at either but still the mad eyed shrieking of slavering obscenities mean I'm a forever TV watcher..... and not on pay for view.

Rugby teaches you more about yourself and how to conduct yourself, not only on the pitch, but with others and in life. Well...I'm South African, and visited my daughter and her husband who live in The UK,...and they took me to a football match at Old Trafford...Man vs Spurs (Dec 2019)...never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined the craziness,or passion,..call it what you will.I nearly found myself at the bottom of the stands(if my daughter hadn't grabbed me on the scruff of my collar while my son in law dealt with the guys standing behind us...he is a firery Irish born lad...and saved the day.😂

I attended a MNF 49 vs. Raiders game in SF at Candlestick Park and was constantly harassed by 49er fans for wareing a Raider shirt , not jersey .I flew in from NC for the game and was shocked how rude the fans were.I thought the Californians were supposed to be cool.WRONG .I was at the Raiders vs Steeler game at the LA Colosseum when the Raider fans beat a man in the stands so bad he was carried out on a stretcher, also witnessed a fight in the concession stand area and as we were leaving the game a huge fight just outside the seating area, not to mention several fights in the stands during the game.I had not seen this many fights even at NASCAR races in NC and FLorida .
