I like it when you go true the instruction guide. It helps with giving an idea of the option the kit has (or doesn't have).
For anyone wondering, you can make whatever you want and declare the unit's loudout pre game. The rules let you do that. AoS doesn't rely on wysiwyg, and never has. If your opponent doesn't allow this- then they're just being an arse.
The solution to the musician and standard bearer not having the halberd, is to buy two boxes. Make one up of each. Use the extra halberds of the murderous weapon unit to change the non halberd for a halberd
This S2D release is one of the best ones by GW in quite a while. I hope their future kits are equally as good.

So far to date you're the only one to compare the push fit chaos words from the start collecting box with these.

Thank you. I guess comparing them to the push fit is a long time coming as they were released in 2019 I think. In fact I was going to leave that comparison out altogether and just compare them to the Ravagers. I’m glad I decided otherwise.
I think Musician will have whatever weapon your other units have.
Just like with Bloodcrushers. They have an instrument/banner instead of sword, but still swing with a sword profile.
Considering one is an "ensorceled halberd" and one is a"murderous weapon" halberd, cant you just assemble whatever you want and just declare it Pre-game?
Are these units usable in Warcry? Not just as a proxy, but actual stat cards? I’ve been looking but haven’t been able to find anything yet 🤔
Yes, the data cards for most things in warcry are available on the Warhammer community site - and Chaos warriors are among them.
You going to do more sigmar stuff? I'd love to see stormcast and hedonites.

On the surface this box looks nice, but there's something here that needs to be pointed out because nobody else seems to want to:
The previous box of Chaos Warriors contained 16 Chaos Warriors with multiple weapon options. So now Games Workshop wants you to pay MORE for over an entire THIRD LESS of the the minis you would get usually. On top of that, Warriors now have 2 less weapon options too, granted those had to be bought seperately, but they stilled added a lot of variety to these models.
This box is actually a really bad deal when you think about it.
