- I paid $67 for sports cards collection from Goodwill’s online auction platform Shopgoodwill. The reason I bought this lot sports trading cards (baseball cards, football cards, & basketball cards) was because I saw stacks of graded cards buried in the listing pictures…Let me know if you think it was worth the cost?!

Lol.. I bought a $200 dollor box from Goodwill. The picture showed an old Kobey bryant card kinda buried but definitely visible it was Kobe Bryant card. I got the box in the mail and the box did not contain the Kobe Bryant card..What should I do?
Nothing, you can do nothing. GW is a joke sometimes. I have worse stories.

I wouldn't doubt they reuse the pictures. I bought the box 4 months ago
What a crazy and strange mix of cards, especially the graded ones, nice find!
It's made up for content. The receipts aren't actual receipts. Nobody keeps modern cards & vintage cards thrown in tubs then gives it away for free.
It's like, why buy them then. Many cards are 2-3 years old. And I have no clue who's grading a $1 card. Clearly not human beings with brains.

The grades don't surprise me as the owner did not take care of his cards. He definitely spent more on the grading than what he would have gained in value. He sent some odd cards to get graded and apparently did not look them over before hand lol.

Someone got back into collecting during covid and brought out their junk wax collection and decided grading them. And busted open some modern and sent off whatever looked good after a case of beer and quarter bag of bud. And 2 years later after his wife left him dumped off what didn't sell at the local mall card shows and ebay listings. 😂
