Arlington Texas Historical Photos

The video is a accumulation of photos that were collected to document various Arlington Texas landmarks and historical treasures. I have lived in Arlington my entire life with exception to when I was in college. I have so many fond memories of these places from my childhood. I hope you like the video.

When my family moved to Arlington in 72 we lived next door to the man i can't remember his name but he was like the town photographer he had 1000s and 1000s of pictures from late 1800s up to current time back in 70s,80s&90s Arlington was a blast unfortunately it changed when they brought in "sec-8" I miss those days

I lived in Arlington mid90s 80s by Hutchinson Jr High. The apts next to big Bank One building. They were sending Bosnian and Kurdish immigrants to live there under some program. Mission Arlington played a big role in welcoming these groups as they were here from war torn countries. They learned English quickly and excelled in their education. Goodman Elementary was key to their success. Just an interesting memory from that area.
