Sorry Kristie but there is a wonderful recipe for a gluten free orange almond cake and you need the ground almonds instead of flour 😜 and coffee walnut cake is just the best
I made a carrot cake cheesecake one time it was great but I agree nuts are such a weird texture I don’t like them in my dessert only when I add walnuts to the graham cracker crusts of cheesecakes!

Unfortunately I’m going to have to disagree. I love adding nuts into desserts. When making white chocolate blondie brownies topped with peanut butter frosting I always add macadamia nuts into the brownie mixture along with white chocolate chunks of course. I definitely recommend trying it if your up to it because they are amazing 🤩 and super delicious 😋
Great cake, Kristie! A couple tips: use your kitchen scale to make sure you have even amounts of batter in each pan (I would also recommend a slightly smaller pan based on the amount of batter since most cakes are made with two 8 or 6 inch pans), with a cake as moist as this put them in the fridge and let them harden before you try to move them around and ice them it'll help soooo much, and if you want prettier cakes do a crumb coat before icing it (ice the cake lightly, let it harden in the fridge and then cover that hard layer with more icing for a smoother appearance). Can't wait to see your next cake!!
I'm lazy, I would have probably gotten the carrots that had already been peeled. 😂😂 Always remember to just have fun in the kitchen, no one will ever know what's going on under the icing. Looks delish! Just have to ask though, what happened to your mixer? Another great video! 💖💖🍰🍰

and for the topping make a “brigadeiro” traditional in Brazil ! 1 can of condensed milk 4 table spoons of chocolate ( nesquik or any other that you like ! ) 1 tbs of butter
