www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/s...
The Schuberth R2 Helmet stands as an entry point into the world of world-class motorcycle helmets. Coming from Schuberth, every line, angle, and feature of the R2 has been meticulously crafted to the exacting specifications of one of the most well-known brands in the industry. At the same time, the R2 comes in at a much more wallet-friendly price point than some of its fellow lids in the Schuberth lineup. Features of the Schuberth R2 Helmet include an outer shell crafted through Direct Fiber Processing, a plush ShinyTex inner lining, world-renowned aerodynamics, and an integrated antennae to boost the reception should you add on the Schuberth SC1 communication system (sold separately). - Авто та транспорт
I love the fact i get to see these helmets before they release
A blast from the past (circa 2017) to see Anthony selling on Rev's YT channel. I wish he make some appearances from time to time here in 2022.
Please RevZilla plead with Schuberth to make this comfortable for the "intermediate oval" head shape ! I love the integration and engineering put into this helmet.
I like the low key communication equipment
Guys can you please pair the sc1 system with a phone so we can hear how their intercom sounds? The mic in the eyebrow area doesn't seem like the best location for clear audio. If you can do that I'd be very grateful :). P.s. I plan on getting the r2 + SC1 just for the promise of quiet ride and seamless intercom integration.
Will it sync with the Sena Bluetooth Pack for GoPro?
Yes it can pair with the Sena Audio Back for GoPro when you have the SC1 installed. -DrewZilla

RevZilla great!
Great helmet!
Does anyone knows if the preinstalled speakers, mic and antena can be removed to use another SENA systems? I seen terrible reviews on the SC1 intercom and zero response from SENA, I already have this helmet and I’m thinking on replace the intercom.
The speakers, microphone, and antenna are hardwired into the helmet. The antenna cannot be easily removed, and if you wanted to install a different communicator, you'd only need to remove the speakers. Removing the speakers requires cutting the speaker wires, so it's a permanent modification. Also, the preinstalled items are not compatible with other Sena communicators. Hopefully the SC1 will improve with software updates. -DrewZilla
RevZilla thanks a lot!
How this R2 compares with the C3Pro fitting? I own a C3 pro and fits perfect on my head. Should the R fits me well? I know it may be difficult to tell, but you may be know somebody who has a R and had a C before
Thanks a lot
If the C3 Pro fits you, the R2 should fit you in the same size as well. -DrewZilla
Great
Thanks
I currently use a white shoei neotec 2 size medium and have a head measuring 59 cms it fits like a glove and have been considering getting a full face helmet and am drawn to one which is hi viz (safety, match other riding gear I have). I have found a superb deal where I can get a new R2 Nemesis in matt black/ hi viz with both a clear and dark smoke visor for $230 (orig price was circa $630) but am wondering if the fit would be right for me. Looking at the size chart for both a Shoei and Schuberth I should get a large (59cms). What would you recommend move on because a Schubeth helmet would not be the right shape for my head or try it out ? n.b. I have tried on a large full face Shoei helmet and that is the right size for me in lets say a RF1200.
It's worth trying the R2 in size large. There's a possibility of light forehead pressure, but you won't know until you try it on. -DrewZilla
It's ECE according to Schuberth's website
The US model is not officially labeled as ECE-rated, so we can only say it's DOT-rated. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla
I am riding a naked bike and I need to change my helmet because is to noisy.
wanted to buy a Schuberth S2 Sport because I like the ideea of having a fullface helmet with sunglasses.
Now R2 was released and I don't know what to do.
R2 seams to be a great helmet (specialy the communication system) but does not have sunglasses.
I looked everywhere for some rumours about the S2 sport succesor but no information is available.
Do you have any info if Schuberth will release, in the near future, a "S3/S3 Sport" helmet ?
Is S2 good for a naked bike?
How is R2 compared to S2 sport?
Should I wait for a S3/S3 sport helmet?
Thanks
We do not have any information on an S3 or whatever might replace the S2 Sport. I imagine they might replace the S2 Sport in 1-2 years. The current S2 Sport is good for a naked bike and tends to be pretty quiet. The R2 is also pretty quiet, but as you know, it does not have an internal sun visor. It's up to you whether you want to wait an unknown amount of time for an S2 replacement. -DrewZilla
I'm in a similar situation, except I have a superbike.
What did you end up doing??
Why no back vent??
It generally keeps the helmet quieter and stronger. Also, there is technically a back vent at the base of the helmet at the neck. Schuberth designed the helmet to ventilate internally through channels and exit out at the rear base of the helmet. -DrewZilla
how do i find out if my head is normal or slightly oval?
Try on different helmets. If u feel pressure on the forehead, can not stick your finger there, but the sides feels loose, u r long shaped. If forehead comfy, but tight at the temples than round. Comfy everywhere, than normal shaped
Jeez that coffee works!!
E2 helmet??
The E1 helmet is still quite new, so there's no E2 yet. -DrewZilla
Is this the same helmet as Held H-R2?
They are very similar, yes. Schuberth and Held partnered for that one. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at cs@revzilla.com or 877.792.9455. Ride Safe, -Pat
Should I choose Schuberth R2 or AGV K-5 S for the same price?
The biggest differences between the Schuberth R2 and AGV K5 S are communications compatibility and head shape. The R2 has a rounder internal head shape compared to the K5 S and also only accepts the Schuberth SC1 Communicator. If you do not have a very narrow head shape and like the idea of an all-in-one helmet with no control unit hanging off the side go with Schuberth. Otherwise, if you already have your own headset you would like to continue using or you just have a narrower head shape, the AGV will be the better choice. -DM
But.. why aren't there a lot of vents?.. and exhaust vents..?
Vents tend to make a helmet louder, so Schuberth engineered the helmet to have good internal airflow channels with an exhaust vent at the back of the neck. That area is still a low-pressure area, so the Venturi effect works to pull air out through the rear base of the helmet. -DrewZilla
Hi
help me find Schuberth Head Air Vent R2
You must contact Schuberth directly. -DrewZilla
RevZilla thanks,tell me contact please
So not a shoei fit then.
Correct, it's rounder than the current intermediate oval Shoei fit. -DrewZilla
so teuer...
Genau... -DrewZilla
it's craaazy haha
fifth like
6th
fa proprio schifo ne ho cambiati due in garanzia la visiera è suscettibile di graffi anche se urta da qualche parte schuberth non all'altezza
Haha its a $450 helmet and its not ECE rated and you used the word "flimsy" to describe a portion of it. Are these guys high? Its Germany so probably not...HARD pass on this P.O.S.
I think you're mostly paying for the Sena headset in it. A 20S costs over $200 alone.
obviously it's ECE rated in Europe, so it must be you.
@chris to use the Sena you still have to buy another module for $230, so I don't think that is the case
Worst helmet I ever bought! Regretted after first day of use! Fit was not the problem. Everything else is. Extremely noisy. It whistles LOUD when visor open at 50kmh. Quick-release cheek pads release almost every time when I remove it from the head. Also when I move the fasteners aside to pull my head in. Those little schuberth logos are stickers... so if for some reason we tighten the sponge they will loosen. Keep away.
