well done , done sharing
Great demo!
I cannot describe how you helped me understand these basics. You are just great
BRILLIANT ONCE AGAIN FOSTER 🤜🤛👍
AS I SAID IN THE PREVIOUS EPISODES VERY COOL.WELL WORTH MY TIME. AND THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AS WELL
Well done again bro!! Very nice!
Good Job. keep up the good work.
Great work
Thanks for this informative video. Helpful in my revisions as a graduate and applying for work. Take care
Amazing! I'm thinking of using these house building skills and draw one myself for my dream house for me & my girlfriend!
Sounds like a plan to me. 👍
Wonderful, I have learn alot
Wow. You said that you only know the basics. That's a blatant lie. Your knowledge in architecture design is extensive. I sincerely appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Keep it up.
Good. Way of explanation is very nice. Keep it up
Great . . . love it.
Awesome! 👍
great work
Very informative
Sorry I'm bad at UA-cam etiquette. Circa 1984 here. I last used AutoCad Architecture 2008, when I got my BS Interior Design (great timing for housing bubble burst). I appreciate all of these reminders of things I use to be able to do. Love your work flow and tone. I subscribed after the third video, and needed to ask my son c.2010 how to watch them in order. Self deprecation aside. Kitchen function NO! I survived Covid-19 so far being a Kitchen designer in a big box store (being reduced down to counting people entering the store and offering masks and sanitizer). Please switch this up so that all cabinets and appliances can open.
Thanks for your comment. I agree with you.
Nice indeed
HII!! great videos! im lurning a lot. i have the autocad MEP and in the content browser i only have electrical, HVAC, piping and plumbing. i dont have furnishing and others. how do i import furnishing? from where? THANKS!
you canuse R during insertion and B to pick another basepoint during insertion
Thanks for the tips bro bro. I'm taking notes of all of them.
Your videos are amazing and thank you so much for the knowledge shared on your platform.
Unfortunately I can't locate the furnishing tab on the metric design catalogue, could I use the imperial for it or it would destroy the whole drawing?
You can use imperial. If done right, you those blocks will be scaled proportionally to fit in your drawing.
Hey what's good Mr Edwards, do u have a video on how to add schedules(Doors and window) also windows and doors tag along with section lines?
I actually do. Check out this video ua-cam.com/video/iCYWKiN9tys/v-deo.html
Ok thanks
I’ve been following the tutorials from episode one, it’s very educative.
Ma only challenge has to do with the furnishings for the kitchen. I’m using metric cos that’s what we mostly use in ma county. I can’t find the furnishings form the metric design catalog, any help??
I'm not sure. I've never really looked into metric and what is available.
Nice one and great work, please how or where can I get the blocks...?
They are included with the software. Make sure you have AutoCAD Architecture.
If I'm done in adding each contracts the foundation concrete ,dimensions, roof separately and walls so how best can I combine all constructs ....into a single drawing .
Keep following the episodes. Or fast forward to Creating Views: ua-cam.com/video/ECDBBHrp7tE/v-deo.html
GREAT VID! DO YOU HAVE ANY PLAN TO GO INTO ANNOTATION?
Thanks man. Yes I do plan to do annotation.
Nice work.. can we material these fixtures?
You can but its kind of tricky. Try this:
Explode the fixture only "twice", until it become a regular block.
Right click/edit block
Highlight elements
Assign material.
Exploding remove certain features from the fixture tho.
This is the only way I figure out how to. If someone else knows a better way, we would love to hear.
what kind of mouse are you using to do your quick 3d rotations?
I'm using a space mouse
Hello sir good day.
U really are a great teacher.
But sir pls I can't find some of the fixtures on in my contents.
Any help.
I'm using AutoCAD 19
Is it possible to edit the block from the content browser? I could only change the parameters in the properties but not really edit it to the desired shape that fits the space, any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I am not sure of it. The most you can do is to change the X, Y or Z scale factor in the properties to widen or lengthen a peice of furniture.
@@TDVision_U I am able to open and edit the block with BE shortcut but now the problem is if I make any changes it will automatically save it on the library. I want to modify blocks based on the design but still want the actual block to remain the same.
Yea, I've never really modify a default block like these ones. Sometimes it's easier to just model the item from scratch.
@@TDVision_UFinally I tried to explode the block and modified it, then created a new block adding to my customized palette, so the original one is not affected, works fine for me!
Great! I'll have to try that and see.
Hello! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I am learning so much. I currently trying to model my house inj AutoCAD. it is a Tri level house and I am not sure how to go about creating the levels and constructs where the elevation will not allow a tri level house concept. any advice?
hi nice tutorial. pls where can i download the 3d templates
For the furniture? These are available in the AutoCAD software.
Edwards, I added a bathroom fixture and i can see it in the top view however it disappears when i try to view it in 3D. Why is this?
I'm not sure why. That never happened to me. Maybe its a graphic issue?
can i get these in autocad architecture 2018?
They should be preloaded in there.
Can someone please tell me what tool palette is he using and where can I get it?
Download AutoCAD Architecture
thank you, I already saw your reply to another comment about the blocks, way too expensive I am afraid 😬
I can't get the Xref palette on the screen. How do I get it?
Type the command XREF
I did. but nothing on the screen
I can't use it like you're doing.
Not sure why you're not seeing it. Maybe its off to the side of your screen or behind another app. It should work.
Hi, please am j the only one facing this problem, my cabinets dont seem to have drawers, they're just like boxes and plus the look like they're upside down😢. I've tried to rotate it but to no avail. Any help please
The fridge blocks the cabinets....
You're correct. That cabinet would probably be a dummy one, where the door and drawer doesn't open.
@@TDVision_U Still a Great Video Keep them coming...
Thanks man.
the bathroom is ridiculous why not to put a shower cabinet. This way every time you will have the wet floor!
True! Any style you chose can work. In this case, that's what the client wanted 🙂
