First of all, thank you for taking the time to create these videos, you're talented at keeping the lessons easy to follow. I do need help in figuring something out, hoping you or a fellow subscriber can help. When I create a section in a Views drawing, the foundation and main floor are 4" apart from each other. If I create the section in the main floor or foundation Constructs drawing, they draw correctly. I'm missing something and can't figure it out. Can anyone offer some suggestions on a setting I might be missing?
🤔 I'm not sure. I'm wondering if one of your Construct has two levels checked. Also check to make sure all Wall elevations are 0. Then make sure you Levels are good.
I have a question. When I am placing the elevation Callout Markers for the elevations; in the dropdown menu for the scale I do not see an option for the 1/4" scale? I only have options for 1:1 all the way up to 1:5000. I am sure there is a variable somewhere that I need to change so I can see the correct scale but I am not sure what that variable is or where I can find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I took a screenshot but I'm not sure how to attach it here. BTW I have been enjoying watching your videos and have followed every single step up to this point in the video series. Thank You so much!!
Thanks for watching my videos man. Are you using metric or standard? Metric will be 1:100 etc... while standard will be in fractions, such as 1/4":1'-0" etc...
@@TDVision_U Yes everything is drawn in Imperial/Architectural/Standard units. When I set up my views I cant find my furniture drawing to add??? Its there in constructs with the foundation and main house but cant find it when doing the views. Can you help me ?
im having a problem with my scale and annotation once i setting up my units to meters the annotations appear larger than my drawing and also in my 3d view there are exclamation point says that the walls are overlapping can you help me please
Hey Edward thanks for creating these amazing helpful videos With regards to this video When I try to generate views , it says that my constructs can’t be referenced Could you please help me with that
Did you name both files with the same name? For example, if your construct file was named "Floor Plan", then you create a view called "Floor Plan", there will be a conflict. I think that might be the issue. You may have to create a fresh new construct and copy the old content into it. Then create a new view, brining in the new construct. Then delete the old ones, as they may become corrupt. Let me know if that helped.
Respect bro, I appreciate your videos! I have a question but it's not fully related to this particular video. Each time I try to open another tab (let's say a different view), it opens up in a new Autocad window instead of the same window I am working on. I searched online for solutions and I saw somewhere that I have to make dwg launcher my default launcher of which I did and it works for the moment, but each time I close Autocad and come back again, it goes back to the same issue of opening the tabs in different windows and that doesn't allow me to access my files at once. Any Idea what I can do?
🤔 It doesn't sound like a AutoCAD problem. It sounds more like a windows problem. I honestly never had that issue so I'm not sure how to fix it. But I think you need to figure out a way to make AutoCAD your default DWG app, permanently. Sounds like you only got it to work temporarily. I hope you get it fixed man. Thanks.
