Reminder the gay dog episode was basically the 2nd episode. Back in early early years when talking about this was basically wrong. South Park's stance was that of acceptance since day 1.
They make fun of everyone who does/believes stupid things, lgbt is an important thing, cause it's ok to be different (as long you don't bother others and just live peacefully). But the lgbt community is a joke at how they behave, many gay people don't want to be associated with the lgbt community. The pride parades i have gone were all freaky and full of weirdos, i worked in colleges with gay people and they were literally like the average heterosexual person, i mean it makes sense: just cause your gay doesn't change how the average heterosexual behaves. I also meet gay people like big gay Al, and sure, people like that are a little over the top gay and show it by their clothing style, but they still will treat everyone equally and respectfully. But people who think they are special cause they are not hetero are just disgusting people in my eyes. I mean we also have a lot of freaky/weird heteros, but we will call them out for being annoying, but if we call a gay person annoying you are nowadays homophobic, even though you don't have anything against LGBT people. Oh and also fck every person who hates gay (other sexualities in general) people, just for being gay. It's so annoying if people like me are calling lgbt members out, for behaving weird/unfair and you get "help" from religious people, who just hate on lgbt, cause they are different and not the way they behave😅😂😂 If my point of view doesn't make sense please write why👍🏻
I'm pretty sure that either Matt or Trey said that Stan was most likely to end up a homosexual in an interview years ago and I find that hilarious (someone please tell me if I've remembered incorrectly!)
Ehhh Matt and trey say alot of shit like one time in a interview I am pretty sure one of them say stan and wendy already fucked which is messed up as hell so I don't think it's canon
The story of Stan and Sparky was released at a time when being a gay man was not as easy as it is now. The irony of South Park is that the generation that was born around that time produced idiots who are now college freshmen who think South Park is “LGBT-phobic”.
No it's honestly really pro gay let's be honest bc they generally are positive towards it but people who don't watch the show think its bad because they make fun of it but they make fun of everything gotta love it
Cause they actually know how to do parody and satire. As opposed to how alot of "attempts" at satire and parody end up just trying to be "meta" or outright insulting and looking down on something while grossly misunderstanding its entire point
I like that the only people who find this show offensive are the people they are calling out on their sh*t, while others like that South Park is roasting them 😂😂😂
One of their best works is their representation of disabled people. Timmy and Jimmy and their relationships with the other kids are awesome, and they’re funny as hell.
south park is offensive but for some reason sometimes i think they like LGBT, I think south park is a mixture of offensive and not being offensive is weird. XD
I hope one day we'll get trans people (specifically trans men, or boys, in my case) to this same level of accepting. That said, pleasantly surprised with what I saw.

South park is 100% against woke ideology. Satire is make fun of something but at the same time expressing your position. Also that doesn't mean that the creators of south park hate homosexual, but you can clearly tell by some episodes how they're against certain LGBTQ ideologies
