This team is high highs and low lows. The problem is they lack consistency in compete level. One day they play like they're in the first round of the playoffs, the next day they play like they're fighting for a number one draft pick. There was no reason to be lacking energy in this game, but they did. This is easily Dunn's worst performance of the season. I don't understand where these dramatic shifts come from - but they effect/infect the entire team. If it were one or two players I might be able to attribute it to playing injured or having a rough night. However, it's so widespread that it feels like an organizational issue. So, I'm at the point where I think this group of players needs to be broken up because they've lost faith in each other. They don't play like a team. At least a rebuild takes the pressure off and the players who are left standing get to go out and have fun. I'll watch regardless, but I would prefer watching the team enjoy little victories than spiral into the abyss. Almost no one on this team smiles - especially with Gourde out.
The result was realistic when you compare the 2 teams on paper. There's far less parity between these two teams than you're eluding to. Sens have 3 players with more than a point per game, whereas Seattle has 0, and then there's Ullmark.
I appreciate this community no matter what. Hope we do better next time.

The whole game was off including Forslund sounding congested, quiet stadium, and a few technical oddnesses with the broadcast

I still love my team but sometimes love hurts 🤷🏼♀️
That is the truth.
