This Franchise is to great not for there to be more. You'd think Sucker punch would be smart and revive with all the fans demanding it . Imagine the money they'd make.
As a massive Infamous fan, I would love it if Sucker Punch went down the Santa Monica route and made it so Good Cole gets revived by the Lightning Bolt, but takes a lot of time to recover from the events of Infamous 2, and then we get a completely new story which further expands upon his character. Just like Kratos when he stabbed himself with the Blade of Olympus and was thought to have "died", but in reality, he survived and escaped Greece, and we all know what happened afterwards. It's an interesting parallel, and I think it could absolutely work. I don't dislike Delsin, but Cole is a better character in every way. We need him back.
Sounds dope, I don't see why sucker-punched doesn't just greenlight a third entry, especially when you have fans like yourself come up with great ideas.

Giving a whole speech about how Infamous is a superhero story that takes itself seriously, but then suggesting that they bring Cole back from a well put together ending of his story is the biggest switch up of the year
No new timeline for me. If it were to ever happen, then it should be Infamous 3 with Cole as the beast and what Nate fox originally intended story wise.
I wished that infamous 2 canon ending allowed cole McGrath to be resurrected from that lightning bolt ⚡️ from the last scene of the ending and in infamous new game to be able to team up with delsin Rowe to defeat his alternate timeline counterpart evil cole
Cole was also my favorite and I believe there are many possibilities to bring him back. A new way to travel would also be a plus, such as turning himself or being surrounded by many bright beams of lightning and teleporting or flying through the city. The ability could be upgraded as you progress through the game. They should also bring arc lightning back as well, for hero Cole too, not just for infamous Cole. I have one more suggestion which is to have more than just the one ending depending on your karma, at least 2 or 3 different endings for each side. It would help promote replaying the game many different times to get a different result. Oh and maybe some cosmetic character customizations too such as hair, hair color, clothing, tattoos, etc just to be a little extra. Hopefully those are some good ideas.

Infamous is a great gritty dark superhero game series that reminds me of mutants from the x men but also a genuinely fun game that has its own style and spin on characters that I love. I would love remakes of the first and second game or even introducing a new canon so cole can come back or introducing a new main character.
Just my opinion i felt celia was a character,we had chances of investing in cause she was,pretty cool in my opinion on how she's controlled paper itself to fly and move around and how we had a cool chance of a boss fight but didn't get it. so why not a game about her.
Due to the comic style cutscenes I did know, but my favorite game is second son. It was the first infamous game I played and saw and I do like Cole's setup and his abilities but being able to move around freely and also being born a gen z kid skipping over 7th generation of consoles minus the Wii cause Nintendo fanboy and the Xbox belonged to my sister, PS4 graphics and interchangeable setup. It was awesome. Plus it was a launch title that deserves more love.
Well im always gonna support evil ending of 2 as the original and proper canon of the series. That being said i think a way it could work is using a bigger scope. If cole has the powers of the beast and can destroy cities and take on large armys. Then i think thats the direction they need to go. Maybe a large portion of america and american cities is the whole map. As for the karma system, well since the evil ending was meant to be the canonical path for cole than it wouldnt make alot of sense to have a good path again. unless you make the choices and karma in the game morbid, or a morally grey good and evil path. Like you could be a heartless monster or prehaps do still have humanity but either way coles in a situation where saving the world still means killing millions. And theres no real hopefully ending.
Honestly I could see Cole coming back in another spin off game like Festival Of Blood or something like that, or maybe instead of vampires it’s like hoards of zombies or something. But that’s just wishful thinking

Infamous second son is the only game I’ve got a platinum trophy on. Sucker Punch is proving they’re nothing but suckers for not continuing this franchise. Second son was a beautiful game! Ghost of Tsushima was excellent as well but they need to honor infamous as well. Or make a game where you can play as Evil Cole or Good Delsin with accompanying story lines!!!

They really need to embrace the choice dynamic and expand on it. Festival of Blood and First Light would have been far better with that. Choosing between power sets like in inFamous2 was the best. More choice makes more replayability. Choosing between a blood conduit and a wolf conduit, choosing between a smoke conduit and a shit conduit, choosing between a fire conduit and an ice conduit, choosing between a shadow conduit and a light conduit... choices between similar things like that is a good idea.
I mean just imagine getting a power from a Mongol fire conduit and having a fire whip. So cool. Or a Japanese shadow conduit giving you the ability to weaponize shadows. If they do this right the Ghost of Tsushima franchise could fold neatly into the inFamous franchise.

Infamous could easily continue by having cole come back to life when the boat gets struck by lighting at the end of the good ending and say it revived him but most conducts did die but they could say the conduit gene still exists like Infamous 2 and took longer to mutate or maybe the sphere in two had another radiation spread and just ignore the whole second son story and delson
I actually have a plot idea i think makes sense if you go the bring back Cole route. I have a logical explanation that is not the question mark lightning bolt that I think is way more complex but understandable. I am wanting to pitch the idea to Sucker Punch/Sony but after doing some research, apparently if you aren’t a Sony employee/partner, your ideas don’t get heard. I really want to pitch my idea for Infamous 3. But fear my idea will never see the light of day.
Yeah the comics are pretty dope. I know there is one that takes place before the events of infamous 1 and another that takes place before infamous 2, which I highly recommend checking out.
I think a remake of Infamous 1 and 2 or a well proper remaster would be fine but we need to move forward with Infamous. Cole was dope, but this fuck you to Delsin is disgusting. There are so many amazing possibilities with Delsin and its unfair to not even try to tap on that because you want to be nostalgic.

Did you not play the game? Also, Delsin story isn't over at all. Celia waged war and has info on the First Sons and may Control the DUP against the government. Delsin only had powers for 3 days and can still develop significantly alot.

I mean the guy could pretty much end everything with zero effort, unless his humanity factor becomes a huge part within the story. Cole being OP as he was in the evil ending is basically god himself. Unless we play as other super powered characters under his rule, and they rebel in a certain way against Cole?
