- We create a few Configuration Profiles in Microsoft Intune for iOS/iPhone devices.
Here a limitation hits us, due to enrolling as a personal BYOD and not Enterprise way so the device is supervised, we have limited profiles that will apply to our device. We still show how it is done.

i wonder how to set the Intune to force all iPhone device to use the UPN or the First name of the user as device name ?
Very good question, hmm, I don't know actually, is it even possible? if you import into ABM, you don't know who the user will be until it is enrolled.
Corporate vs personal enrolled ? Can you explain in more detail ?
that is a great question, so Corporate/Enterprise means that the company owns the device, meaning you can control it a lot more. Personal, could be the employees own device and a Bring Your Own Device type, so the Corporate cannot control it as much. Corporate requires an Apple Business Manager account more or less and you register it there.
@@IntuneVitaDoctrina I am having soo much Google fail right now. I can't find a matrix that explains the difference by feature. Maybe a different terminology ? (also thanks of the video it was great)
When you mention Google, do you mean Chrome? ChromeOS? Android? or something else that fails?
How to configure Homepage on MS Edge via intune in iOS devices
In Configration Profiles create a custom setting (with your URL as Value), try the below, should work fine.
For the homepage setting, you’ll need to define the OMA-URI, Data type, and Value.
OMA-URI: ./Device/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/Edge~Policy~microsoft_edge_recommended~Startup_recommended/HomepageLocation_recommended
Data type: String
Value: ["www.bryntze.cloud"]

@@IntuneVitaDoctrina HI Thanks for reply but it does not work for iPad or iOs dervices. it works only for windows devices. There are no OMA-URI option on Custom for iOS . Thanks
Thanks, didn't know that! when time allows I will look into that and see what can be done, thanks for that information, it is for macOS you got for it maybe.
@ @IntuneVitaDoctrina Your device is not applicable is because it's your personal device right?
yes it is exactly that. Personal devices can enroll but you can only manage a few things, if it is Corporate enrolled you can do a lot more. Unfortunately I don't have a private Apple Business Manager account to show that part
