Mercury Vessel View Mobile is an extremely powerful tool for you to get all sorts of information off of you outboard. You can get hours, RPM, current fuel use, holeshot, max speed, oil pressure, water pressure and more. Overall I think the Mercury Vessel View Mobile installation process is so easy that anyone can do it. Later on I plan on doing a Mercury Vessel View Mobile reviews including the vessel view app. Thank you for watching my Mercury Vessel View Installation video! Please SUBSCRIBE if you haven't already.

A little about me:
I am James McBurnett. I live in the great state of Texas. Probably not where you would think, but I am located in the panhandle region. I moved here from Alabama and work as a Chemical Engineer in the area. After being here for a few years, I decided to get back to my roots as a fisherman. It is quite challenging in my area to find a body of water to fish. The closest lake to me is about 40 miles away.
After a couple more years, I realized how much I love fishing and wanted to share it with the world. Clearwater fishing was born. I wanted to teach people all about fishing. This includes rods, reels, fishing line, bait, lures, largemouth bass, crappie, walleye, catfish, bluegill, boats, boat trailers, outboards, and anything else related to fishing.
I also wanted to share my fishing experiences as well. To be entertaining, knowledgeable, comical, and FUN. This channel was created out of the love of the sport of fishing, and I plan to keep making content that represents that. Thank you for watching this video and reading a bit about me. Give me a shout out in the comments below and let me know you read this. Now get out there and go catch you some fish.

Have it installed since day 1, a must have!
I agree. There is so much info available!
I bought mine from BPS December 9th on sale. Easy install.
Super easy. Intimidating if you don’t know much about engines.
Thanks for the video. New sub. Just purchased VV on sale at BPS. Now I know how to install it.
No problem! I love helping y’all out. Thanks for the support.
I wish I understood how to connect it to my phone…this is 5th video and everybody skips that part it just magically connects my shows nothing even to connect to and how the hell does it turn on if you don’t have an power on the motor? I just don’t get it HOW DOES ONE CONNECT PHONE TO THE MOTOR
Sorry most people assume everyone knows how to do that. Let me help.
1. Download the vessel view app from the App Store.
2. Turn the key on you boat to on or if you are in the water you can start it.
3. Make sure your Bluetooth is on.
4. In your phone settings go to the Bluetooth section and tap on the vessel view device. This should connect your phone and the vessel view device. I don’t remember how it pops up. It should look new to you though.
5. Open the app and it will prompt you through creating an account.
6. Tap on connect in the app and it should connect. You should be able to see all the cool stuff.
Hope this helps.
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
No problem!
Hello, I wanted to compliment your other video on your 250 hp oil change. Best one yet. I viewed it in hope I could spy a good spot on motor for my vessel view install on my 2023 200 hp. could you possibly suggest a place to mount. Also , is the terminator connection located in back of motor? I haven't received the motor yet. Thanks
Good job! Just a question, are we gonna need the information on the End Use sticker on the module? Because I removed mine and throw it away without saving the information there. I hope this gets noticed. Thanks and more power to your channel.
I installed on a new 200hp but continues to lose Bluetooth connection during running. Is there a good location to mount the module on the engine?
Hello , have you had instances where it disconnected from Bluetooth? My 2023 200 hp and vessel view was fine for 5 months then all of a sudden can't connect message, my vessel view shows only a green light.. thanks
Greetings from Reno, Nevada.
Greetings! How is the weather in Reno? High of 40F here.
Just subscribed. Nice YT channel. Where exactly did you end up installing the module? Do you have any pics you can share showing install? Thanks!
Awesome video man! Do you know how to check if the motor is compatible with smartcraft? I can find that connector with the yellow terminator cap, but does that say that its compatible or what?🙈 Would be nice to get some clarity in this haha. Cheers mate!
Hi, is it correct that the vessel view can only be registered to a maximum of 4 outboards/engines? thanks
Yes sir!
@@clearwaterfishing Thank you for your help
Hi. Did you have any issues w motor after installing? Loose wire? My new 150 hp shakes at idle..
I did get a random alarm, but that was due to a loose connection.
Will this work with a 1996 200 efi outboard?
I don’t think so. The package says 2003 or later.
Hello was wondering if that tells you eng trouble codes
It does.
👍
Thanks man!
