Hi RCEveryday! Just a tip, if you want to add damping on those shocks/dampers, you can use thicker grease inside them (thicker = more damping).Tamiya calls them friction dampers actually and that's how we control damping when we race their F1 cars. :)
I'm really enjoying these videos, thanks. The ice tray is a great idea, I think I will give that a try on my next build. I usually just use cereal bowl and dump everything into one bowl. I have been eyeing the Grand Hauler for a while, might have to pull the trigger after tax season. Btw, I have the same Craftsman pliers as you.
Hi there. I have just watched both of your vids on the tamiya truck. I have a question, Am i right in believing that when i buy one of these trucks from ebay or wherever, i get just the truck, No controller and no electrical parts? So it is not a running truck? I have to buy batteries, motors and other stuff to get it up and running????
I liked these videos as I'm building one of the R470 kits, I'll be turning it in to a asda lorry as work for them, good ifo is always the best bet before starting any new project. I've made a lot of rc racing 1\10 buggies, but this kit has a lot more pieces
+Philip Brown I hope these videos help you in your build. Would love to see it when your finished. The scania kit was a little more complicated than I expected. But not too hard.
+Josh Dutton (RC Everyday) hi josh, I've got taken any photos yet but I will do a short video, for this channel. this is my rc channel, you might like my rc buggy racing from the track in Southport nw uk.
+Antonio Fernando Brito De Sousa fernando I'm not sure what it would cost to ship to you. There are a lot of online retailers that ship worldwide. It is a large box.

What worked for me was to assemble each side rail before joining them together

That is correct. The kit comes with only the motor. You will need a radio, speed controller, and battery.
I got all my bearings from Fast Eddy's.com prices are 40 to 80 depending on kit and ship 3 to 7 business days in the contintal U.S.
from where you got the servo motor??
its comes with the truck box or you have to buy it separately ??
David Shilleh separately
So do both servos come with the truck
+DU Gaming the kit does not include any electronics.
