I agree with you about the smoke! I live in north Idaho and have my whole life. The smoke has definitely gotten worse over the last few years! I’m wishing for a summer with no smoke so we can actually enjoy being outside!
In the entry on the second shelf put a couple of baskets for hiding daily used items to grab before walking outside. Or some stacked books. Put a lamp on the left side. Put a basket of blankets or wood pieces underneath the table to hide the plug.
I’m taking a break from Christmas decorating this year. With a toddler, being away until the 5th Dec and then from the 23rd onwards (so waking up Christmas Day at someone else’s house), I’ve given myself a pass this year. I’ll still put out my wreath but that’s it! We have also greatly reduced the gifting this year as well. My son is getting a dress up box with things I’ve thrifted. We are focussing on the traditions we want to build instead. I also usually host a party early in Dec and skipping that this year too!

Love it! Fall is my favorite season so I loved the decorations. For the bottom shelf on the entry way table, I would think maybe a basket or tray you can store things you don't want visible, like keys or gloves, and then you can slide it out like a drawer? Maybe a coffee table book too?

I know I'm late in catching up with my videos but the bottom shelf of the new entry table you could find some dried pampas grasses or a leafy garland or beaded garland...or even just some cute seasonal pieces like small art or candles that are decorative or tiny seasonal block signs or letters
For the second shelf I'd suggest a cute basket or a trinket dish for anything that you'd drop when entering home (e.g. mail) or quick grab & go before leaving house (keys, facemasks if that's something that your area still requires, chapsticks etc). I definitely would not recommend leaving it completely empty because as it's the case with any purposeless horizontal surface it might become a clutter-spot
I've recently started using my current books as decor! I think a beautiful antique book or bible or anything you guys are reading would look great stacked horizontally inside the new entry table. It also makes for easy access and clean up

For your door on Amazon they have a magnetic hook that is double sided that works beautifully. I don’t know how to explain it but it comes in two pieces so you put a piece on each side of the glass door but the magnet is so strong it will not move and then you never have to worry about it falling. I think they are like $10 or less and they come in different finishes. I live in the south and command hooks don’t work for us with the big temperature swings.
Entry table: the right hand decorations need one more thing so it's in 3s. The bottom shelf should stay empty until you find something perfect, or if you have some books. The brass bowls remind me of my mother's collection she had from living in India.
I think it’s just fine as is, and I usually use the rule of 3. In this case, the mirror makes it feel balanced enough. Plus, the table is pretty small.

Oh my word thank you for reassuring me that I’m not crazy for having a slight panic attack with the Christmas decor that’s been out in stores significantly earlier this year!!!! It’s been putting a slight damper on my favorite season (Autumn 🍂) because it’s everywhere and in your face! The smoke and the fires have been bad this year. I'm so thankful for rain now! I also was having some inflammation and lung issues last week so I'm thankful for the cold wet weather now too. Love that antique wall cabinet! What a cool find :)

I think for the bottom shelf of your entry way, styling beautiful bound books would be pretty! And another tip I’ve heard from designers is to style in groups of 3 with differing heights, also a small table lamp would be pretty in the corner next to the unfinished wall. 😊 The table is beautiful.
The stomach virus took about a week to go through our home this month and my house was a disaster. When sickness comes around, judgement free zones are to be implemented 😂 but there’s nothing like a home reset after your household is ravaged ❤

Natalie, the entry table is very pretty but it might be a tad too long for that space because it covers up the door molding. You can still use it somewhere else in the room, but I would keep an eye out for something a little bit shorter. You could put your Bibles on the lower shelf so they are easy to take with you to Church on Sunday mornings.🤗

Entryway Table Idea for second shelf: you could add pine cones on the entire shelf. It will give the kids something to do by collecting them and they are free.

The smoke and the fires have been bad this year. I'm so thankful for rain now! I also was having some inflammation and lung issues last week so I'm thankful for the cold wet weather now too. Love that antique wall cabinet! What a cool find :)

I think for the bottom shelf of your entry way, styling beautiful bound books would be pretty! And another tip I’ve heard from designers is to style in groups of 3 with differing heights, also a small table lamp would be pretty in the corner next to the unfinished wall. 😊 The table is beautiful.
The stomach virus took about a week to go through our home this month and my house was a disaster. When sickness comes around, judgement free zones are to be implemented 😂

Try some vintage books in colors you like for that entryway table shelf or some design books that you can style around your house year-round!
For the second shelf, maybe holiday and seasonal table runners. Not bulky to store but would add pops of color and interest.
If you have any pretty coffee table books I think they would look so good on the lower shelf of your new console and be the best spot to store/display them.

Natalie, the entry table is very pretty but it might be a tad too long for that space because it covers up the door molding. You can still use it somewhere else in the room, but I would keep an eye out for something a little bit shorter. You could put your Bibles on the lower shelf so they are easy to take with you to Church on Sunday mornings.🤗

I really like your design esthetic ❤ the lion head towel holder is so classic and beautiful but original and quirky. Also that linen closet is just perfect. And the console table is lovely too with the mirror, I love those candle sticks on it. They match the height of the mirror well. I think the right side needs one more tallish item. I just love your home. The light in the kitchen/dining area is so beautiful. The changes you’ve made over the past year have been amazing
Your entry table is beautiful, but I wonder if it's going to get whacked by the door opening. Maybe put a couple of silicone bumpers or something on it where the door would hit?
I LOVE the brass bowls. I'd put potpourri in the entry table one, and put orange candles in your pretty candlesticks there.
For the bottom shelf, I would get a few baskets. You can put small things - keys, sunglasses, etc.
I am also in western washington and girl, your complaints about the smoke are totally justified. I got some minor bloody noses from it. Glad the wet is back, honestly - feels like how it should be.
I think fairy lights and leaves (fall garland) would look lovely on the bottom shelf and tie in the wreath as well 🙂

I am currently trying to make a inside ladder from branches I have picked up from around the place, I will be using this to put my lounge blankets on.
As a native southern Oregonian, I feel you on the smoke. Unfortunately, it’s our reality every summer now. We even had a few days where our air quality was over 400… beyond hazardous! Nothing to do but stay inside and run the air purifier 24/7. Just got some rain though!!!
I am not sure but did you mention that Oct. 14, 2021 Your house was first shown to us your viewers. A whole year of the marvelous remodel of it. Beautiful house and family. Love you!
Id suggest thriving some coffee table books to do a small stack on the console table. Or maybe something you already have.
