  • The tips and tricks to making the most CRISPY & JUICY fried chicken🍗🔥
#ad Below you can find a list of my top tips when it comes to making the ultimate fried chicken, but perhaps the coolest one is the use of a SEASON•SEAL Vacuum Container from SealVax. Using this glass vacuum container has MAJOR benefits when it comes to marinating - both in shortening time ⏰ and enhancing flavor 🧂 - it allows you to marinate your chicken in hours instead of overnight … so that means you can have ultra flavorful SAME day chicken. The quiet and cordless battery vacuum seals in seconds with the touch of a button!! Also, the durable glass container is safe for the oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher (without the lid)!
Will be sharing a full tutorial and recipe on my Substack (linked in bio) so make sure you are Subscribed ✅
    Tips & tricks:
🔪 Break down your own chicken. If you’re up for the challenge this is a great way to save money and get a variety of pieces.
🔪 Use a flavorful spiced buttermilk brine. Buttermilk will help tenderize, infuse flavor and moisten the chicken. Add in a generous amount of your favorite spices, hot sauce and some pickle juice and you have an epic brine. Marinate for 4-24 hours or 1-2 hours using a Season Seal container.
🔪 Add a splash of vodka to your chicken batter. Because vodka is more volatile than water, it evaporates more quickly. That creates larger bubbles and even more surface area, in turn resulting in a much crispier crust.
🔪 Use paper bags for the ultimate coating. Dropping battered chicken in a brown paper bag and shaking it up will help you get a perfect well coated piece of chicken.
🔪Double fry the chicken. First fry the chicken at 325 F, this will make sure the chicken is cooking inside and begin forming the crust. Then crank the heat to 400 F, this will get a beautiful golden exterior and lock in the juices.

I've been watching so many videos of how people fry chicken lately. I like to see how they do it. Will they use a salt water brine, pickle juice, mustard or buttermilk as the marinade? One man used soy sauce and some other things as the marinade. Then he triple fried them. Your recipe looked delicious though.

These cooking 101 classes are super helpful!!! Can you do a video on making sauces such as cream and cheese sauces please?
I can make a good tomato sauce but sometimes other sauces are hit or miss. 😅

This is great but it doesn't give KFC a run for their money. They use a pressure fryer; Arlen Sanders basically invented the pressure fryer. That makes it possible to have tender, evenly cooked chicken in large batches, which you most likely don't need. But for a few years in the fifties and 60s they made "home versions" of these devices, incredibly dangerous, but delicious chicken that had the whole "pressure" thing going. If you had one, and you used your own batter, and prepared it in the pressure fryer, it would probably be even more tender, with less turning and fussing.
