As a Cubs fan living on the south side - and as a baseball fan in general - it's really great to see Luis back on the field. What a beast. I went to a Sox game on a beautiful day in April and every player up and down the lineup was Gavin Sheets, Andrew Vaughn, and Adam Benentendi. It was like watching the Reds sweep a bag of Wonder bread. Gotta get over there again to watch Robert play.
I am a very frustrated Cubs! No doubt! Something about this hometown match up remind me of why I love the game. I love this game because the fans on ever level just love seeing both of the teams they love at the same time.
Madrigal, who was supposed to be the 'good D' third baseman, made a critical error last week and now Morel made an error at a critical point in the game. He needs to get better but he could still be the solution. Swanson makes the occasional error too. Morel has good reach and a cannon arm. Maybe rotate him with that minor league 3rd baseman from the farm who seems to be great at D.
Fans were critical of Ian Happ lately. He had the game winning hit. Also, Wisdom was clutch too. But the team has to play better moving forward if they are a serious contender.

Perhaps move him to first or left of right field or we can try to move him for a farm piece or a piece of equal skill that is good with defense at 3rd. Hard to say and will be interesting to see what the Cubs go with.
