Great video, admittedly I love the Harrier and thing it's a brilliant aircraft. I didn't know how to obtain grids so definitely a very useful little tip. I'd also love to see more Harrier videos as time goes on. Keep up the excellent work.
Those are all really great tips and should help out a lot. Especially now with all the changes to functionality Razbam has introduced in the last few patches. Thanks for sharing.
Sorry to be off topic but does someone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my login password. I love any help you can give me.
Maybe the only other thing I would have added would've been the new HOTAS control for the TPOD Razbam just implemented, just a quick and dirty for zoom, making a target point with the Waypoint Increment button
Yeah I considered it. I think the tpod needs its own unique examination as it seemed to changed quite a bit functionally. Maybe that’s my next video...🤔
@@CasmoTV I haven't flow the Harrier for about two years but after watching missions on Low Level Hell I'm itching to pull it out of storage. It would be nice if you could produce some how-to vids that were on one subject instead of lumping a bunch of short here's how to do it on different systems in the same Video. I think it would be much easer for a viewer to find content that they are looking to learn. For you next video maybe go over how to take off from a FARP with a loaded Harrier, and what the limitations are.
The INS mode should be only for the HUD mode. So in INS mode you can only move diamond inside HUD and only when it is visible inside HUD. That is why you have separate MAP DESG mode to move waypoint around or make a target point on map by inputting coordinates using UFC. INS mode shouldn't move DMT or MAP or Maverick or anything else than target diamond inside HUD for visual targeting.
@@CasmoTV the NATOPS is very clear about INS limitations and functions, what the Harrier has is like a Flaming Cliffs 3 level of system modeling. So of course it helps players when they don't need to work systems properly.
1:25 Sweet big belly of Princess Celestia, what's up with the DME indicator showing tens of thousands? :D 2:22 What's really awful about it is the static clicking / popping noise in the recording. And thanks to ED's "edc-ing", we can't even fix that ourselves...
There is a bug. If you are equipped with sidearms and Mavericks, the sidearm are still selected, when you have selected Mavericks, which means, you need to go to guns. Reset both mfd, then Masterarm off/on. Unless if this is realistic, and part of the harrier, then this is Odd. I still see alot of issues on the harrier even for a 7 year old module.
Small nitpick: as far as I'm aware pickle is supposed to refer to dropping bombs and things like that. Mavericks however are supposed to be stated as rifle. anyways nitpick over good video as always
The real litmus test is if you have a copy of a particular book with a black and white cover, and Santa is smoking a pipe. That's how you know you're an arrogant Apache driver.
Not so fun point. In a reality DMT can not be slaved to waypoint or any point, as DMT is a sensor used to acquire a contrast lock and then used with ARBS to calculate the target slant range from angle rate. So you can't slew it around terrain or so as it has no idea what is the distance, and if it can not get a contrast lock then it goes back to HUD mode. Now in Harrier the DMT knows automatically target distance and ground altitude. It can lock on anything and it is perfectly ground stabilized. DMT is not used to acquire a target and measure slant range to calculate target position and altitude. In DCS the DMT is just a targeting system to point where system makes release point.
@@CasmoTV The main gripe I hear people say is, the harrier has changed a lot and the tutorials out there are not accurate/training missions not accurate is this true? How would you recommend I start learning? Thanks again for answering my questions :) :)
More Harrier videos please : ) great videos!
Feel free to check out mine...but just starting with advanced Harrier tutorials
I did not know you could direct an uncaged maverick like that with the DMT. Very good to know. Thanks.

I love the guy driving past as the Mav hits, he's the luckiest man in Eye-Ran :)))
He don’t give a DAMN. “Gots to get to work, son!”
Nice vid thanks I'm just getting back into the Harrier so very helpful
Good luck with your 5k subscribers. I like this channel.
Cool tips man! The map in INS mode really surprised me.

Whether it should or shouldn’t in real life is one thing. If it does it in the game and it helps others it’s another.

@@paristo Ok 🤷🏻♂️
@@paristo Does it have a moving map like in the video? with ability to designate target or waypoint with tdc?
Wow ..those are very professional tips.Thank you Sir
Excellent video. Thanks a lot!
Attitude hold for another top thing Harrier pilots should know.
Awesome! Thanks :D
Great video, you deserve more subs!

Yeah idk where that tens of thousands came from. Like that’s brand new I think. Noticed while I was filming and just shook my head.
@@CasmoTV Pretty much looks like it's 1000x of what it should actually be. So just a math error in the code :)
Yeah it’s just annoying
Thanks Linus!
Damn, I wish F-16 was as complete as this.
Viper is already more completed than Harrier.

Well I made this video two years ago so I don’t remember what point you are referring to but yes rifle is an air to ground guided weapon.

Ah yes the subsonic attacker
Woohoo I made the outro, lol.
Can you show the commands like GW does?
Slick :)
I swear to god the stage before your Sidearm has a Full lock on is horrendous, that hurts my ears
