New 3T MRI Machine Installation at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center

On Saturday, multiple teams of experts safely and effectively delivered a 16,225-pound 3-Telsa MRI machine, the latest state-of-the-art imaging technology. The 300-foot journey to get the monster magnet from its drop-off point outside the ASC to the 2d floor imaging department, was the culmination of months of perfectly executed planning. The medical advantages of 3T MRI imaging underscore the commitment MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center has made to its patients and community.
