Kool. I think I know which one that is.........Have you tried Camp Creek by Viola? Thats pretty good. Also try Elk Creek. Coon Creek is also good, and also the West Fork of the KK can surprise....big browns in that one.......the Wis Driftless is so gorgeous! Nice job.
Camp Creek used to be a lot better, but still is good. Try way upstream by the grass pull-in, which is across from a few houses on 56. .......the stream goes into a big grass meadow. The stream narrows, but big fat browns are hiding on the sides....even where stream is only 5 feet wide. Its nuts.
Tiger trout usually have no spots and the vermiculation come all the way down the sides. They will also have white on the lead edge of the pelvic fins. I think you just caught a brown.
Oh man that is a tough question! I think it really just comes down to the time of year! Spring/Summer I would for sure say Wisco, but Fall/Winter Iowa might have the upper hand!
I’m really enjoying your videos. Especially since you don’t pretend that the streams your fish and the flies you use are too secret lol. Thanks and keep them coming Ps. Where is your gf 🤷♂️
Tiger have a distinct irridescence that’s hard to explain or capture on film, I caught one last spring on a meat whistle actually in Central Wi , it’s hard to explain how Pretty they are.
13 days after opener and not a single fish around. i tried this morning 5-13-21 6:00 am same rig you used Meat whistle and mudder minnow . where are the fish ?
Your videos are awesome, love the content. I do have 1 complaint (just my opinion), you leave the fish out of the water a little long (studies show that a trouts gills show signs of impairment after 15 seconds out of the water). I get that you have to make sure the camera focuses and stuff but the fishes health is a little more important than the shot. Your viewers would understand this. Anyways, you content is spot on and entertains me when I'm not on the river.
Awesome video man! Great editing too. Tight lines!

The dnr parking lot forget it. you must have parked by the building on the on the outer end. may be see you some day
That was a beautiful fish, I think it was a brownie. I don't want to put you on the spot, but do you prefer Wis. or Iowa's Driftless streams?🤔

You're awesome bro. Thanks for all the great content. (Not a tiger though 🤫)
I was just curious what driftless stream that is??
Man I dont even remember the name.. it was a tiny feeder stream to the pine river in Richland Center!
May be a hybrid, as brook trout and brown trout spawn in the Fall as water temperatures decline...
It looked fishy!! haha
Wish ya did, but that looks like a brown to me. Tiger's are much more pronounced, most specifically on the side of them. Nice session though man!
Rats! The hunt continues! It was such a strange pattern on the back of that brown

I only ever see it available in a size 1 hook
Umpqua makes a really awesome 60 degree bend hook and I love the size 10!
@@FLYALLSZN what site can I purchase that on? Much appreciated
@@jamespontrelli7735 Depending on where you live, any local fly shop should have them! Otherwise you can pick them up direct from Umpquas website!
@@FLYALLSZN Much appreciated! Keep up the enthusiasm it is nice to see in fly fishing. Most are boring.
@@jamespontrelli7735 haha thank you so much! Will do!!

Come on now. Fish will be fine the way he's handling them. Better him than my frying pan 😂
