Odd that everyone knows about this one but not the one with the annoyed narrator. If you're doing a normal playthrough wherein you actually get a choice about the bandit helping you escape U.S.A. and choose 'we don't need your help' the narrator will get angry and take control, accusing you of looking for easter eggs. He then drops a paper mask of what is clearly Warfstache and says "Here you go, this is the secret to everything. Now either pause and puzzle it out or continue on with the story". It's also worth noting that old Mark speaks very similarly to Warfstache and uses a cane. The Lady also asserts that 'it was you this whole time' to him, indicating that it isn't the Captain, but the old man Mark who causes the paradox. A final note is that reality only glitches in the presence of Mark. If you let him die by never resetting time the first run through (the happy colonists ending) you can summon the crew to do everything. If you attempt to do that in Mark's presence, they will glitch out into the granny over and over, progressively worse each time. 'Fix it from the outside' also strangely glitches into 'no errors run' around Mark after you repeatedly horrify him with it, and when the Bandit gets in his way on the way to the engine room, she vanishes - which he takes completely in stride. Most of the glitches are avoidable, but the multiple Marks appearing and glitching at the door scene is, I believe, completely unavoidable. Which means the original "That's not me, Captain" is canon, not a spoofy bit. We can confirm the glitches are paradoxes being corrected - or causing mini universe crashes - because the omega paradox causes a cascade of them ending with the universal reboot. Considering the fact that even Darkiplier lectures the Captain for being responsible for the paradox when all signs point to Warfstache - who in turn also seems to believe it's the Captain's fault - the answer to be found in the easter egg probably isn't 'pink mustache boy did it' but 'why does everyone think the captain did it instead'. Perhaps it has something to do with why Mark can't remember the loops until the Captain goes through the light once. Perhaps it has something to do with how the people not the Captain or Mark seem to only retain a slight awareness of the loops and yet immediately go mad from them. Perhaps it's all designed to make Matpat go insane IRL because he can't make a theory video about a production he's a part of, or perhaps he hired Matpat for a bit part specifically to stop him from making a theory video spoiling things.

I am intrigued to see what he does with all this in part 2. I wonder if Matpat will attempt a theory on this show🤣🤣

Can I also mention we SEE old man mark in the beginning sequence? Only way old man mark ever got to the warp core was warping to a time where it hasn't happened yet. It all makes sense now.
My favorite part is that there’s like a billion different ways to the same ending, but there are a couple of exceptions. Intentionally take every chaotic and stubborn option, and you’ll be able to land yourself with a stern lecture in the dunce corner of the universe because of your actions. Even then, the ending is technically still the same, as you hear voices from the Convergence Route. But at least you have *something* of substance from this ending.
Love how there was just this brief moment for some of them where you could just wait to find Warfstache in there as in other times, we saw Illinois and maybe heard Dark (but it ended up being the Backstage Actor guy from Date with Markiplier)

All I can remember is I got to the part where Bob's Character gave us a Choice and I chose "Burst blow it up before it blows you up" and then when Mark and I got to the world bridge I chose "hang on a second" which got me to him. I'm sorry I can't remember all of it. I just ended up going through everything I can't remember the exact path😅

The exact route is Fix Life Support, Disguise, Wake the crew 3 times, jump again, emergency meeting, distress signal, don't attack, we need your help, don't open the door, think of the colonist two times, fix it from the outside and hold on a second.
