Thanks Alyssa for a charming film on this lovely breed - I met some a few years ago on Benbecula - they were such inquisitive and friendly creatures.
This is such a critically endangered species since there are only about 3-400 pure bred ponies left in the world. It would be a tragedy to lose them entirely.
You should get to ride the Finnish horse (Finnhorse), they are wonderful creatures and very versatile (used for farmworking, riding and trot racing)! Hope you get a chance soon! :)
I cannot wait to ride them and feature them here! I've heard so many wonderful comments about the breed!

🐴 Have heard of the Eriskay some years ago, but I didn't know they were still around, but I'm so glad that they are. A really lovely native breed, and I can Imagine very hardy.
It looks as is this Eriskay pony did indeed get into your mind, heart and soul! I would say though, having been around equines of all types, they all seem to quickly steal us over to their side :). Truly we are powerless to keep our love, admiration and minds away from them all... each and every one.

Have you done Chincoteague Pony? They are my favorite breed, my best pony, Noah, is one and I’ve found they can do just about anything, along with the history from the mystery of how they arrived on Assateague island, to the pony penning, to of course the “Misty of Chincoteague” book, I’d love to see you cover the breed if you haven’t already!
They are such a fun breed!!! I haven't filmed them yet, but they are on my list!!

What was it like, riding in that eccentric saddle designed by an eccentric Englishman? Was it comfortable? Did it pinch? Feeling her muscles moving much more than in a conventional english saddle, and sooo much more than when you're perched waaaay on top in a western one must have been amazing!

Welcome to the adventure! 😁 Hahaha, yes, great question. You do have quite a few breeds there!! So far, I've only ridden the Aegidienberger, but can't wait to get back for more filming!
You should see if you are able to ride the American mammoth donkey or a mule if it would that still be considered a horse

Thats what i really hated in englad, zero space for riding, everywhere just fences. First thing what i did after i get with my horse home we just go ride for couple of hours everywhere we want
sitting on them isn't the problem, its getting them to move whilst sitting on them. They just think your nuts. You know i'm a pack pony right?
For some reason, your videos often have long, obnoxious political ads from Republicans who screech against Paul Ryan, running to finish out term in the old NYS 19th congressional district, then also for the newly drawn NYS 18th district. Do you have any control over this?
