I spontaneously went to NYC (I live about 2 1/2 hours north) one day, made a last minute appointment at Maria Tash and got a 2nd nostril piercing (on the same side). Took the train and had a lovely day walking by Central Park, people watching and window shopping. It was early Spring (last year) and unseasonably warm and sunny. I had a wonderful day and love my piercing (of course! Maria Tash is the BEST!) I'm not usually spontaneous at all; I'm a planner girl. Once in a while, I just do something on a whim and it usually ends up being fabulous.

for the black dress- yes to getting it lined, high waisted shorts, but I would alter the hem as well to not be as like, more like a midi than a full length. If you have to do all that to keep a dress, I suppose you weigh if you really want to go through with it. However I think it looks great on you 🤍
One spontaneous thing I did, I was on a London trip with friends and saw a gorgeous vintage jacket at Portobello road. I didn’t had the money to buy it sadly. Went back to France and couldn’t stop thinking about it so three weeks later I got my paycheck and even I didn’t know if it would still be there I jump onto the Eurostar and it was still there and I bought it and best purchase of my life!!!
Your makeup looked SO good and youthful right before you put the eyeliner on. I think it makes you look lighter and brighter! With or without looks great, but I'd give no-liner a go for a day!
A got close to a girl from China during my Uni days, and she invited me to Shanghai last year. We had not seen eachother in 5 years, yet were still in conctact. Booked a flight to Shanghai, and had honestly the best time eveeeer !!! The food, the shopping, the architecture and vibes 💗
Those gloves!! When I was a kid my skin would get so painfully dry in the winter, especially the hands so my mom would slather me up in moisturizer and then put gloves on me and send me to bed like that haha

Merci, in south korea they do a scalp check et treatment. I advise you give it ago. Get a scalp check et you may have an oily scalp. Garner shampoo et conditioner hit it right. People have oily scalp et dry ends like me.
There’s a Persian restaurant in Chiswick called Rice (lol) and the food is SO good. Maybe not as boujee as you are used to but the food is immaculate and the lady who owns is is just 🫶🏻. She’s like an aunty to everyone who goes in❤

Nevertheless when I was in high school someone offered me to swim the English Channel in a relay for charity ( I was a competitive swimmer) and said yes immediately and told my parents I was doing it. Then said ok, no problem because they are also quite spontaneous. 😅😂 When I was in college, my best friend was living in the Bahamas and I was in New York, it’s a short flight. When she invited me and I had the extra cash (because then I would stay with her and barely pay for food) I would go. But I think being spontaneous has to also suit you. Like tell yourself, could I do this, and why shouldn’t I ? Because I like the stories and see where the night takes you. Like a Sunday, where a friend says let’s have lunch and then you meet more people and then you’re home at 11pm but you did you so much, had some many conversations. And now have great memories. Let that be your motivation for your spontaneity. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

My Husband makes great gluten free Yorkshires , Becky Excell’s recipe . You are fortunate to live in London there are several places that do a Gluten Free roast , out in the wilds of Derbyshire its a bit more challenging 🙄

And if you have to alter an item of clothing so much so that it's no longer not what it was intended to be ... unless you're a clothing designer yourself - return it. Altering something to fit perfectly - great. But this is not the case for that dress. Also - when it doubt - don't.
