I've owned the bronze version of the Boderry Voyager for nearly a year. I'd never had a Chinese watch and I purchased the Voyager on a whim as a beater. As it happens it has exceeded my expectations. The bronze patina has darkened to a gorgeous shade. The watch is paired with an FKM rubber camo black and orange strap from StrapHabit that matches the orange second hand and the black of the dial. It's not the most accurate watch I own but it's definitely the most likely to elicit comments. Some might consider the pairing over the top but I love it.
Have to agree… the watch exceeds every expectation I had… I can’t wait for the patina to kick in properly… for the money, I hardly find anything better
I bought this watch because I wanted something similar to what Joel from The Last of Us wears and it didn’t disappoint. Just perfect for whatever I throw at it. My go to field watch
Hahhah you know what’s funny? I was thinking exactly the same thing when I saw the one on the green nato strap 😂 I really like it too… can take a beating, its not expensive, very well built 🤷♂️ not disappointed at all… thanks for the comment, hombre!!!
Great video with thoughtful considerations. I've been a humble collector for years. It took me plenty of time and hard work to build my collection. I've got 1 Rolex Sea-Dweller, 1 Omega Heritage Speedmaster '57, 1 Tag Heuer Formula 1 Gulf A, 1 Seiko Prospex SPB151j, 1 Tissot Classic dresing, 1 Bulova Lunar Pilot... But as a watch nerd who just likes a good watch, my collection now has 29 pieces. So among them you'll find Casios, Swatch (an irony all SS chrono from 2012 that Ilike a lot), Orient, Festina, affordable Seikos etc. AND some homages like the amazing Steeldive Cap. Willard SD1970 (bought before the spb151 to try the shape on the wrist), the Steeldive Seiko Tuna SD1975 in engineer bracelet (bought for the same reason and ended up liking the peculiar design all the same but haven't got "courage" to pull the trigger on the original yet). And I think you sumed it up very well with the word hypocrisy: for example, there are tons of models in the industry from several respected brands that homage the Submariner (some close to 85%, 90%) and everyone seems to be cool with that. But if it's a chinese affordable brand (delivering construction quality, sapphire glass, reliable automatic movements), then lots of people "turn their noses" and bash these pieces.
Right? Thank you very much for saying that, I think homage watches have a place and people shouldn’t grape on them by default just because someone else said so… some of them are genuinely awesome pieces
Got the titanium with a claret dial. I love it. Very solid and rugged watch but still remains classy and surprisingly elegant. Its hard to think of a better all rounder for under 100USD.
I prefer just the date - it is way easier and faster to set if you have larger collection- but it wouldn’t stop me from buying it if there is a color combo you really like 🤷♂️
I got my 38mm version and it’s been a good experience so far. Could you make a video comparison of the 38mm and the 40mm voyager. I would like to understand the size as both have nearly 48mm lug to lug.
I am super curious about the new smaller one!!! I find really cool how they have made the display caseback with quartz movement- its something you don’t get to see everyday… will try to get one for review
Again, thank you so much!!! Comment like this one, keep me motivated - I do it for fun, no collaboration or sponsorship… just me, my and my friends watches :)
I love how simple the titanium one is. Just basic and does the job. I dont think I would ever have considered the bronze and the strap it came with is foul, but seeing it on the other straps has kinda changed my mind. Maybe...

Great video man, subscribed. Looking forward to watching more reviews
Thank you very much, hombre!!! Will try to keep them coming

Yeah, the value for money is absolutely off the charts… it is very well built and there are no real flaws
I have both and love Boderry watches!
Not surprised- I am tempted to get the new 38 version also 🤦♂️
Man, what happened to your right hand? 😂
This picture is awesome!
😂😂😂 that happens when you wank too much 🙄
@WatchWatch-ck6xl I assume there are lots of girls on your parties. 5 or 6 gigabytes. 🤣
I'm a bit confused between the one with just the date or with day and date. Your thoughts?

Nice video bro. Keep it up. I liked the jokes and overall honesty.

Will you do a video showing it fully develops patina?
That is actually great idea :) thanks!!! I will do it! Maybe together with the restoration to the original state
@ sounds awesome! Tag me in it?

Was exactly the same for me… it was more curiosity that made me buy it… but I am loving it now
Otro video perron! Buen trabajo hombre
Gracias hombre! ❤️ me alegro mucho
Great watch for the money, but not for me as the long lugs put me off. 😁👍
Understandable, it is somewhat fixed when it is on nato strap - then it looks alright really…
@@WatchWatch-ck6xlbut I wonder how it would sit on my 7” wrist
