I know this is completely unrelated to this video, but I have a potential suggestion for another video. You are Czech, right? I was in Prague in early 2023 and stumbled upon this store that sold vintage cold war era watches, predominately a Czech brand called Prim. As intrigued as I was I knew so little about the brand, the quality and the fair price of these watches, I did not pull the trigger. But Ive been intrigued ever since.

A no nonsense wear and forget type of watch

Picked this one after speaking with you separately on another video, after learning that you use it for workout. It's been great since and I just love how accurate it is. I use it as a point of reference for all my mechanical watches to measure accuracy because of the atomic time syncing.

It’s has been a while.. great to have you back 🤙🏻. I own 4 G Shocks, all tough solar and BT. Them and my DW260 are my go to work watches. You’re right about the fit of the straps- I have the same exact problem, and my wrist is 7.25 inches..

I bought the negative display DW5600 a couple of years ago. Yes it’s a tad hard to read, but I bought it purely because of the red backlight!🤤 I re cased it in a Casio polished stainless steel case & bracelet. It’s called my TERMINATOR!😈😎🤣

There are different G-Shock or even Casio has something unique (features) to offer. I had G-Shocks with triple sensors, regardless ana-digi or fully digital display. In the past months, I come to discover and appreciate others that fit into my lifestyle. You may try G-Shock GD350. Large 'square' for your large wrist. Large easy to read displays. 5s super bright light not interrupted by pressing any button (perfect to use features in total darkness). Killer features: vibration alram, mode changes, countdown timer. I call it the 'operator ' watch. 😅 Happy weekend.

Why don't you see if you could fit a combo bracelet. The screen is not plastic, it is glass. The Edifice bracelets are jangley shit. I had two and put them on good aftermarket rubber straps. The 6900 is great but sadly you chose the wrong one :) Just teasing. I have 181.

👍👍Being old I had a DW5000-C in the mid 80s and I am now rocking a W217H as I watch this on a Vario leather strap -- it's square enough for me, has big digits (as I said, I'm old) and is an Illuminator. It's the only Casio I own and I'm fine with that.

I have way more expensive watches than the gshock 5610 but there are some days I can't wear anything but that it's just such a no nonsense watch

Now I want another Casio 😠

Hi Karel, Karol here. This is a great review. I also like this watch but I'm still waiting for the price to drop. Although it seems to me that the price (500€) will stay like that for now. Other watches in this price range that are worth taking on the radar is Glycine Combat Sub 39, Wolbrook Skindiver II (Underrated) and Wise Adamascus AD8 (a tiny bit more expensive but I love that watch). My waiting almost reach is couple of months and I'm still deciding go for Stainless steel or Titanium version. But alot people mentioned that Ti version get scratches easily compared to SS version. Still cant decide

I just feel like i will be more happy with a seiko...But I recently picked up a citizen promaster lume dial ny00 series and i cant take it off, i think i like it just as much as my skx, but if i pull the trigger on this i officaly have switched sides and i will be a citizen guy.... 😂

1. I hope you're Dutch, otherwise bikes aren't allowed in non bike subjects for others. 2. Good point about the movement ( citizen need to put this in a cheaper 3 hander than present models) - most, if not all, reviews miss this . I, too, have avoided miyotas for the same reason . 3. The size might be a bit large for me ( 6.75"/ 17 -18cm) ..reason I got Certina DS38..my miss(?) 4.I like the link you did with the t - shirt . 5. Watch winder- erm, of course it's up to you ( & you may know this already),but many watchmakers don't encourage their use - unless ( esp.) for a Patek perpetual calendar. 6) Last point( honest)- sapphire crystal .For a tool watch I'd rather have a mineral/ hardlex ( one for Seiko!) than sapphire. Example: Adrian Barker dropping his Explorer 2. 7. I lied. I was really considering this one. Well, the green one. It was the perfect colourway (for me) and as you said, spectacular dial. But - there were three big buts. 19mm lugs, of course (I wanted the green one, but that one has a strap, and I'm a bracelet guy, so finding one aftermarket would have been a nightmare) Dauphine hands. I'm not into that pointy designs. And finally, the case. Seiko is king of beautifully sculpted cases and this one seems rather austere. So I got a Baby Alpinist instead. :D

When it comes down to value, the Casio Duro is, "far far far", I can't say it enough, the best value in the watch world.

I have the Watchdives PVD Coated Tuna Automatic Dive Watch. WD does a great job and is a cut above the Addiesdive and Steeldive. I just purchased the Retro Willard after watching your awesome video in 9 min and 43 seconds. What got me hooked was the bronze hands with the matt bezel. That green is the new black it goes with everything. Again you have an awesome channel , informative, honest, and entertaining.

I have more than 40 watches, Tag Heuers, Longines, Seikos, Tissot, Cartier, etc, and sometimes I sell one of my watches because I don’t use it so much, and guess what? My Orient Kamasu green not for once I thought to sell it, I really love this watch! Sometimes I just think: Why I spent so much money in some of watches I have, when I look at 200 eur Kamasu!!! Really!

I have 4 Helm's a Ti Buri, SS Buri, Ti Van, and SS Van. All Except one were bought with Helm Invitation Codes. The other was a gift from a friend. They get more wrist time than my SS Rolex Submariner, or My Omega Seamaster. They are built like tanks. The Ti Buri and Van do scratch easily. But for the price, I don't care.

Bought this Citizen Watch after this movie since I like my Bulova Lunar Pilot as much as You do. Citizen Promaster Titanium it’s a great watch and I love it.

Great video. What is your wrist size? Saw another video that said that the male end links make it fit quite big, but it looks well-sized on your wrist.

Very good review/cinematography. I have the Ti version of this watch and it’s a fabulous watch. The weight is manageable but the bracelet is still a little uncomfortable. I put my name on the list and forgot about it; it was probably over two years before I got the email. Would I sell it? Absolutely no way.

Good, honest review. I got the red dial one and ordered a curved end black rubber strap to change out the bracelet once it arrives. I might have to change the crown if it's a real in the ass.

I have San Martins in my collection. I like them, they are well crafted, fairly priced, good materials. No seiko tax. I am a seiko fanboy, but they are not loyal to me, so I am not loyal to them

Glad I’m not the only one that didn’t like it. My GF said it looked like a boring grandpa watch. Returned it, went with the srpj. Still a field watch, but has more character.

The original is the best!! Smaller one is crap!

I have six. I love them and have this with a green enamel dial. My favourite is the 62 Mas chronograph which seiko should have made but didn't. The San Martin chronograph is a fantastic watch. Mine is well into COSC in all 6 positions.
