These are high school students, so I think their rules are a bit different, but I teach at a korean middle school, and they get their cell phones confiscated into a communal phone organizer first thing in the morning, and returned at the end of the school day. Elementary kids I teach who have cell phones do get to keep them throughout the day though.

Honestly I wish the importance of studying was projected the same where I live. Not saying I want the pressure and stuff because I know that it is really tough in East Asia, but at least more of a push to make most people actually care about school lol
Back in my middle school days I would only carry: school books, notebooks, pencils, pens, color-pencils, cash, and posters/photocards of my favorite boyband that I'd buy infront of the school before classes start (My school schedule was 1:30pm to 7:40pm, I'm not a morning person so I always registered for the afternoon school instead) ^0^
These High Schoolers sure have a lot more ambition than us, their Swedish counterparts. I just carried my laptop, my wallet with ID card, some pencils and whatever books/notebooks I needed to take home for homework (and ofc lip balm and pads). They have a LOT of stuff, like airfans, makeup bags, folders etc I just threw everything in and let it get wrinkled as it wished. Their bags must weigh a ton.
Honestly though I rather carry those that are nothing than 7 textbooks or more and 7 notebooks a day plus folders pencil case like we've been dying from the weight here idk how you think their bags are heavy xD

However, on certain days where we had to bring books/notebooks (for exam studying for example) ,gymclothes AND laptop (which isn't light in weight), my backpack would literally topple me over if I didn't balance myself properly. And the laptop can't ever be left in the locker, as it needs to be fully charged when you arrive every morning.

Do you have homework in every subject every single day? if so OMG pity you for that even more than the damage to your shoulders. Or are you not provided lockers? Also out of pure laziness, I wrote all my notes for all my classes in the same notebook, and just switched notebooks when one was done. It made for some REALLY messy notes, but it sure made my arms ache less.
i wish our schools in australia were this lenient.... we arent even allowed our hair not tied up unless its so short that u cant and we must have the exact, correct school uniform, no makeup at all, no accessories, the correct school bag, etc, or u will get a detention. ofc, we dont have academically strict schools like korea tho... but i rlly rlly rlly wish our schools were like korea. it would make school such a fun place :D

Back in my middle school days I would only carry: school books, notebooks, pencils, pens, color-pencils, cash, and posters/photocards of my favorite boyband that I'd buy infront of the school before classes start (My school schedule was 1:30pm to 7:40pm, I'm not a morning person so I always registered for the afternoon school instead) ^0^
These High Schoolers sure have a lot more ambition than us, their Swedish counterparts. I just carried my laptop, my wallet with ID card, some pencils and whatever books/notebooks I needed to take home for homework (and ofc lip balm and pads). They have a LOT of stuff, like airfans, makeup bags, folders etc I just threw everything in and let it get wrinkled as it wished. Their bags must weigh a ton.
I carry a fan and folders, my clothes for P.E and dance and shoes other than that I have a few notebooks that I have to carry around....😁
Honestly though I rather carry those that are nothing than 7 textbooks or more and 7 notebooks a day plus folders pencil case like we've been dying from the weight here idk how you think their bags are heavy xD
@@emmak2685 I used to carry I bunch of textbooks and notebooks, stationary all in elementary since I used to go to private school but now I moved to texas and we barely have to carry 3 notebooks hardly any textbooks randomly pencils or pens since everything else is provided
@@cutie_sexy_lovely3500 We got our laptops provided in my school, and most school things were on it, so it really made life easier for us. However, on certain days where we had to bring books/notebooks (for exam studying for example) ,gymclothes AND laptop (which isn't light in weight), my backpack would literally topple me over if I didn't balance myself properly. And the laptop can't ever be left in the locker, as it needs to be fully charged when you arrive every morning.
@@emmak2685 I don't understand why you carry 7 whole notebooks and 7 textbooks? Do you have homework in every subject every single day? if so OMG pity you for that even more than the damage to your shoulders. Or are you not provided lockers?
Also out of pure laziness, I wrote all my notes for all my classes in the same notebook, and just switched notebooks when one was done. It made for some REALLY messy notes, but it sure made my arms ache less.
My "student ID card" is a paper with a picuter of me glued on it signed by my teacher with a school stamp

and we must have the exact, correct school uniform, no makeup at all, no accessories, the correct school bag, etc, or u will get a detention. ofc, we dont have academically strict schools like korea tho... but i rlly rlly rlly wish our schools were like korea. it would make school such a fun place :D

나였음 개빡칠거 같은데 진짜 멘솔이 있든 없든 유튜브 같은 모두가 볼수있는 영상에서 저지랄 하면 누가 기쁠까 더군다나 학생인데 아는 사람이 이 영상 보는거 생각하면 막막할거 같은데 밑 댓글은 프로 불편러들 하는데 그러는 님들이 학생 신분으로 저기 나왔다 생각하고 몇만명이 내 가방에 멘솔있다 오해하면 어떨거 같은지 생각은 해봤나 모두가 오해를 하리란 법은 없지만, 중요한건 그것만의 문제가 아니라 저 학생 자체를 존중하지 못한 태도가 가장 큰 문제임. 주변에 진짜 학업 스트레스에 쩔어서 우울증 막 이래서 피는 애들도 봤는데 진짜 그런 사람이 봤거나 나왔음,아님 진짜 까오용 담배여도 기분이 안더럽겠냐 이거지. 쨌든 이렇게 개방적인 곳에서 까발릴게 아니라는 거지. 장난이였다 해도 선넘은거고.

Actually as a Korean, in that context he didn't exposed her smoking but he just made a joke about her not behaving in school well. and over 90% of Korea's students don't smoke and we think students smoking is a serious crime😅😅
