Hi Ivan - Just wanted to say thank you for the Green Stalk link to Rooted in Bolton! Been after one for ages! All received and planted up now - Jude was an absolute star - would totally recommend the company and product to everyone! keep up the good work your videos are great - thanks again!
@@ivans-gardening-allotment-uk I have just planted some out in the soil after growing from seed. The trouble is with growing them in the ground you have the slugs to deal with and the cabbage white is a pain too still at the moment
Thanks Ivan, shame about the blight but it looks like you're going to get some good spuds from those containers. The strawberries are belters, what variety are they? Take care and all the best. Stevie
I've put some autumn potatoes in, hoping for a Nov harvest. Starting some garlic and bluebell bulbs this weekend didn't know autumn/winter could be so productive!
I’ve got my kale and broccoli in and onions and shallots going in this weekend. I’m not bothering with garlic this year as it takes up too much room and I can use frozen or jarred😂 How do you do so well either way peppers? I never have success
Yes we've had a few white butterflies too Ivan little chuffed. Things are definitely slowing up, I'm really happy that my sprouts are growing, got some carrots growing, beets & turnips, spring cabbage too, definitely getting cooler & lots of rain. Cheers Ivan ...
You should tie the Apple trees to the metal box to stop them getting damaged over the winter .

That doesn’t look like blight because the stems aren’t effected
Best to be safe than sorry
Thank you Lindsay
