The guy is phenomenal. I know nothing about guitars or playing guitars or talking about guitars, but his talent transcends. He does have other videos, some even better than this imo. 🎸💕
Having heard good and great piano, good and great violin, good and great vocalists, this one really got me. Not going to pretend I know enough about the skill set to proclaim Alip Ba Ta a virtuoso, but it FEELS like it.
The little things that I feel but couldn't describe, this is talent and work and passion.
Alip Ba Ta is out there making the world a better place. It's the little things.
ALSO: I think the reactor was moving that mario bear. I don't think it was real.
You’re wrong about the bear. He was right into it.
There's not a ton of technicality in this piece that shows him off as the virtuoso that his is. Your clue here is just the ease with which he plays the piece and that he's putting exceptional tone into all of the phrasings. I could play this piece, but it wouldn't sound a tenth this good, even if I practiced it every day for a year.
He has other pieces that are far more technical, note, if you want to see him go off.
@@mikeholmes5308 tbf I won't be running out and searching out more clips (this isn't my style of music at all) But I'd never roll my eyes and ask someone to turn it off either. I don't know if I'd want to hear something more technical.
This was, for me, a near perfect display of another masterful talent in this wonderful world.
I could draw a shape that most people would recognize as "apple". An AI could smash a bunch of pixels together to make me think it's a picture of an apple. Most artists could make a painting or drawing that makes me WANT an apple. It takes a masterful talent to make me SMELL the apple, yeah?
Maybe a botany student could tell me about the chemical processes that make an apple, and a PHD in food science could explain the cross breeding that has been done to produce #1 selling apple tree of all time. Fascinating for some, to be sure, but at that point I lose interest.
I guess, when it's outside my comfort zone, I vastly prefer how "well" rather than how "difficult".
